Ingredients:
- Storybook Creator Plus
- Great Escapes Digital Kit
- Digital Embellishments - Office Supplies - Silver
- Digital Embellishments - Hardware - Silver
- Digital Embellishments - Sewing Room Stitches
- Fonts Used - dearJoe4, Forever Black, Batik Regular (www.dafont.com)
Instructions:
- Create a new 12 x 12 project.
- From the Great Escapes Digital Kit select Paper15 as your background.
- Using Paper27 cut a piece 10" x 8" and paste on the background 2.5" from the top of the page and line up with the right hand side of the page.
- Select and cut a rectangle 4.43: wide x 12" high from Paper16. Paste this piece to the page lining the left edge exactly center on the page.
- Add four photos to the page. The largest photo shown is 7.32" wide x 5.44"high. The smaller three photos are 3.69" wide x 3.15"high. Arrange the photos as shown.
- Now we can add our strips of paper to journal on, for these I used Paper20 and cut them 3.55" wide x 0.53"high. I added six strips and rotate the strips of paper to make the shown effect.
- From the Digital Emb-Office Supplies-Silver I added six SilverStaples to the journaling strips. Again rotate the staples and paste onto the strips as shown.
- While in the Office Supplies-Silver select and paste onto the upper right hand corner of the larger picture the Silver Partial Paper Clip.
- Add journaling boxes to all six paper strips and add your personal journaling using Batik Regular as the font.
- Now go to Digital Emb.-Sewing Room Stitches and add 1_RunningStitch to the top and the bottom of you page as shown.
- In the Dig. Emb.-Hardware-Silver kit select the brad and add six to your page. Place three up in the upper right hand corner and three at the bottom of the striped piece of paper as shown.
- You can add a journaling box with the date the photo's were taken in the lower left corner of the page using dearJoe4 font.
- The Adventure word art is found in the Great Escapes Digital Kit Embellishments. Enlarge the size to 8.20" wide x 2.14" high and line up above your large photo.
- Lastly for this page I wanted to add the word Kayak to the title word art. I added a text box directly above the word Adventure and typed in Kayak using Forever Black as the font and changed the color to match.
How do you add a font to SBC from dafont.com? Thanks for your help!
