- StoryBook Creator Plus 3 Software
- Jewel Digital Power Palette
- Digital Overlays - Swirls
- Font: FairydustB
How to Create:
- Start with a new 12x12 digital project.
- Add Paper29 and re-size smaller (about 50%)
- Add the large vertical photo, place it to cover the right side of your page.
- Under the Color Tab select black & white, next select levels and move the slider on the left right a little bit, to deepen the dark colors.
- Under the Format Tab select Filters and add a diffuse glow.
- Add your second picture, rotate counter clockwise and place in the top left corner. You may want to drag this layer underneath the previous photo layer to keep a clean vertical line between the photos. Repeat steps 4-5 for this second photo.
- Add the "give thanks" Embellishment from the Jewel Digital Kit as a brown Rubber Stamp select a warm brown color that looks good with the jewel paper ( I've used Hue=18 Saturation=33 Intensity=15) and place toward the bottom left corner of the vertical photo.
- Underneath the Embellishment add a text box to add the "for family" in the FairydustB font change the color of the font with the eyedropper tool to match the brown embellishment you just made. Add another text box with the same font and color but smaller font size for the description and year.
- From Digital Overlays - swirls- add Swirl3 as a rubber stamp, use the eyedropper tool to match the color of the overlay to the brown text that is already on your page. Stretch the Overlay to Cover your page.
- With the overlay layer selected go to the Format Photos Tab and select Touchup here you can erase parts of the overlay that are covering important parts of your photos (like faces).
- Last you will make two slim brown rectangles that will be the divider lines. Go to the insert tab, click on shape - rectangle, use the eyedropper again to match the color to the overlay and text, place it along the left side of your large photo. Copy this layer.
- Paste your last rectangle and rotate horizontally, scale it down and place it between the jewel paper and the smaller photo.
