How to Create:
- Start with a new 12x12 digital project.
- For this simple and quick layout you will just need to start off with one circle, go to the insert tab > shape > circle. As you create this largest black circle expand it off the page to the bottom and left (remember to hold down the shift key as you expand it to keep it a perfect circle (this only applies when you are creating the shape, when you adjust the size later do not hold the shift key to keep the proportions))
- Next is the bottom photo circle, so you will copy and paste the black circle you just made and re-size it to be a little smaller and off-center it a little bit, with that layer highlighted go over to your photo's panel and select your photo and choose to "fill the selected element with this photo" from the drop down menu on your photo. You may want to adjust your photo, I've made this one black and white, adjusted the levels and rotated it a bit.
- Copy and paste that last circle and make this one a bit smaller yet, with this new circle selected go to the Cut & Fill tab and choose Gradient, I've made mine go from darker green to brighter green bottom to top.
- Copy and Paste that gradient circle and make this one just a little smaller and off center it, fill this one with a solid color (very dark gray(you can always go back and change the color later, like after we put the paper layer in you may want to go back and change this gray to the exact dark gray in the paper with the help of the eyedropper color select tool)
- Copy and Paste that last gray layer, shrink it and off center it a little, this one you use "paper" under the Cut & Fill tab, choose paper1 from the tie the knot addition.
- Now you will Copy and paste that Gray Layer again, and make this one quite a bit smaller and move it toward the bottom right of the "paper circle"
- Go back to the photo circle layer and Copy & Paste that one, make it smaller than the last gray circle and move that one toward the bottom right as well.
- Now we'll throw a few little embellishments on that bottom right corner we were aligning the last few photos with. Add tie knot flourish4 from the tie the knot addition embellishments. Rotate and resize as shown.
- Copy and Paste your black flourish and move it almost directly over the other one, go to cut and fill and fill this flourish with the same gradient you used on your gradient circle ( the settings should have remained the same).
- Next you will add flower1 from Vintage Romance Digital Embellishments right on top of the flourishes, you may want to adjust the color of the flower (Hue/Levels) so that it looks good with your colored gradients.
- Last add one line of subtle journaling across the top of your page in light gray.
Love it, can't wait to try this technique myself.

This page looks so fantastic I just had to do my own right away. My version is from my girlfriends wedding.
I used the original photo as the background as well and it looks fantastic.
Thank you!
