Ingredients (Canada):
How to create:
- Create a new 12x12" project.
- Insert mat 1 and drag the mat to re-size it to be 12" high, this will be your background.
- Cut a new rectangle shape from paper 4, size is 4"x10.5". When you are making the cut for the shape, rotate the rectangle to the right so it cuts on an angle. Place the paper on the right side of the page.
- Cut a rectangle from paper 1, 7"x5". Place this rectangle in the center of the page on top of paper 4.
- Insert 3 photos. The size may vary according to your photos, cut and re-size each photo to these measurements: Photo 1 (far left) 3.3"x2.2", Photo 2 (middle) 4.15"x5.5", Photo 3 (far right) 2.3"x3.1". Arrange the photos as seen in the example and add colorful photo mats to each picture.
- Insert mat 4 and cut out a circle from the mat that is 3" round. Copy and past the circle and fill the color with white, re-size the circle to be slightly smaller than the green one. Then using the circle cutting tool cut a circle from the white leaving a small border, see the example. Group the white border and the green circle together and move the layer to be under the right side of the middle photo. Copy and paste the circle and change the color green to the color pink to match the other elements in the page. Move this circle to be under the left photo and re-size it to be about 2 inches round.
- Insert the #3 embellishment and place it over the green circle but under the photo. Insert the balloon embellishment and place it in the top right corner of the center photo. Insert the pink and green star embellishments. Put three pink stars above the left photo, re-size each one to be different and put 3 green stars under the photo on the right, re-size them to be different also.
- Insert a new text box and type in the letters for "I" and "birthday" one layer at a time. The font is Bodoni MT Black, 144pt. Starting with the "I", right click on the layer and choose to create a rubber stamp. Change the color to match the same pink being used in the page. Adjust the coverage, threshold and pattern to your liking. Then select create. You now have a new letter "I" so you can delete the layer with the first letter "I" you created. Repeat the steps of making a rubber stamp for letters, b, i, t, d, y, ', also use purple for these stamped letters. Change the remaining letters to pink. Arrange the letters as shown to spell out the title. Once you have them where you like it group the letters together into one layer.
- Insert a new text box and type in love using Freestyle Script as your font, 132pt. Change the color to white. Place the word love in between the "I" and Birthday's.
- Insert another text box and type in the date and place the date in the pink circle, font is Gabrielle, color is blue.
- Apply any desired drop shadows to the elements on your page and save your work.
