How to Create:

1. Create a new 12 x 12 project, then unlock the background. Color change the background to a medium grey color.
2. Add Distressed Digital Overlay #1 to project and leave it black.
3. Add Distressed Digital Overlay #3 to project, then color change it to light grey. Next, we'll be adding a filter - so click on "Format" tab, then choose "Filters", "Fractal Map" and the selection I picked is "High Clouds".
4. Add four squares cut from papers and photo mats, then give each a heavy shadow. Arrange them on page as shown.
5. To create "X" stitches, add stitch embellishment to project, color change to Black & White, then darken. Add heavy shadow, then copy and paste several times, placing stitches as shown.
6. Choose four photos, then crop each into a square and place one photo onto each patterned square. Give each photo a heavy shadow.
7. Add embellishments as shown. (Tip: add circle embellishments across the top, making them each varying sizes, then line them up along the bottom and spacing them evenly horizontally).
8. Add journaling to finish.
