Ingredients (Canada):
- StoryBook Creator Plus 3 Software
- Distressed Digital Overlays
- Stitches Sewing Room Digital Embellishments
- Vintage Romance Sewing Room Digital Embellishments
- Cheerful Winter Digital Additions
- Tags Digital Shapes
- Fonts: 3rd Man, Mandingo
How to Create:
- Create a new 12x12 project and leave the background white.
- Add Distressed Digital Overlay 1 to page.
- Then place a straight stitch and a zig zag stitch on the page. Put the zig zag stitch over the straight stitch to layer them and then group together. Copy and paste the stitches and layer then in the top left corner as shown. Place the black button from the Vintage Romance Sewing Room Embellishments on top of the stitches where they meet.
- To create the color patches under the stitches you will want to go to the “Insert” tab and “Shape> Custom shape using straight lines” You will want to follow the lines of the straight stitch and create shapes to fill the space exactly. You can then color them what colors you desire.
- Insert Calendar on your page go to “insert> Calendar” make the gray box almost as large as your page and click “Create”. You can right click on the calendar to customize it with different fonts and styles, I used 3rd Man for the month and Mandingo for the weekdays.
- You will want to add one photo to each day of the month, you can right click on the picture and choose “Edit Calendar Cell” to crop the picture to fill the frame.
- Insert shape 0007 from Digital Shapes – Tags to the page and place it on the bottom of the page so that only the top half of the shape is showing. I made it the same color red as my title and then place “I heart winter” on top of the tag.
Are there directions how to make this with sbcStudio??? I didn't see them here.

YEAH LEANNE! So glad you're sharing your project with a wider audience here on the Project Center! Juliet, you can find instructions for using sbcStudio for this project on CM's digital Facebook page. Just search for "Creative Memories Go Digital". Then click on our Techniques tab where you'll find "365 Calendar Project for Mac".

Two questions: How do you make your calendar days square instead of rectangular? And some of my images don't fill the calendar 'square' completely. Is there any way to make the image fill the box?
Otherwise, it worked very well and made a nice page of my photos.Great idea, thanks.

Caron, to fill the entire square with a photo you need to right click on the photo and choose "Edit Calendar cells..." from there you will be able to add text to your square and to crop your photo. When you crop your photo it crops it into a square that will make it fill the entire calendar square.
