How to Create:

1. Add the desired photo to your page and enlarge it to about the size of the page. This is so it will be easier to work with small details in the photo. In my photo I decided to isolate the color of his eyes. Highlight the photo and select the "shapes" cutter from the "Cut & Fill" tab and the circle. Size the circle to the size of the eye. You may need to swap the shaded area so it is around the eye. "Keep the shaded section" and “copy”.
2. Sometimes you may need to use "soften edge" to the copied element so it will blend in seamlessly. To do this; select the copied element then the “filters” effects from the “format” tab. “Soften Edge” I used a softness of 12 in my example and select “apply”.
3. For odd shaped elements such as my popsicle select the "custom" cutter from the "Cut & Fill" tab. Create points around the desired shape. You may need to edit these points to get the correct shape. Feel free to "zoom"in for an even closer look. "Keep the shaded section" and “copy”.
4. Highlight the original photo only and then select the "Black and White" or "Sepia" option from the "Color" Tab. Select all of the elements of the photo and right click " Grouping" and "Group." You are now free to resize the photo and finish your page.
