Ingredients (Canada):
- StoryBook Creator 4.0 Software
- Wish Digital Kit
- Recipe Book Digital Kit
- Reminisce Digital Embellishments
- Distressed Digital Embellishments
- Dress It Up Digital Embellishments
- Winter Solstice Digital Kit
How to Create:
- Use Wish Paper9 from the Wish Digital Kit as the background. Go to order on the tool bar and make normal. Decrease the size a small amount to expose the white background around the edges and appear as a paper not the background. Insert Ribbon4 from the Wish Digital kit and increase the width of the ribbon to cover more of the page. Add a cord surface texture to the ribbon. Add Ribbon6 from the same digital kit and add surface texture cord to it as well. Using the arrange tool set the ribbon vertical to the page. Add 3 picture with white mat and using the arrange tool align them along the green ribbon in the center of the page. Under the pictures and over the ribbon add the glitter-line embellishment from the Dress It Up Digital Kit (change the color to white).
- Add Wish Paper6 to the top right side of the page. Place under the vertical and horizontal ribbons. Add additional Picture with white mat to align on the vertical ribbon. Cut out a white circle and add 3D edge to create a tack, to use to attach the pictures on the page. Add Wish Ribbon3 to stretch across the pictures and using the order button arrange the ribbon over and under some of the pictures for added effect. Use bow-tied embellishment from Dress It Up Embellishment, Winter line Swirl from Winter Solstice, Greenpaper Clip and Green Frame from Reminisce Digital Embellishments as additional embellishments along the ribbon line across the page.
- Along the bottom of the page add ‘Believe’ Embellishment from the Wish Digital Kit. Add the diffuse Glow filter to the Believe Embellishment and increase opacity to 63. Use this area as a Journaling space.
- Use the bent corner technique for the top left paper. Fill the corner with Paper7 from the Recipe Book Digital Kit. Add a white tack, previously made, to tack down Metaltag1 and Distressed Circle String from the Distressed Digital Embellishment Kit. Inside Metaltag1 add the word ‘Spring’ using Base 2 Font. Add the rest of the word art “the Miracles of” using Scriptina font.
I love this layout - so much so that I tried to copy it. Unfortunately, these directions do not get you to this layout. :( The papers and ribbons aren't quite right. For example, the paper in the upper left corner isn't in the Wish Digital Kit I purchased. Also, you can't add a cord texture to Ribbon6 and get the effect produced above.

Hi All, I have been away on extended vacation and hope I can still help with your questions. I am sorry that my instructions have caused confusion to some of you but I am glad you feel inspired by my page. I assure you all of the papers are indeed from the Wish digital kit. Anne: the paper on the top left of the page is the paper stated however I failed to include that I added "Dandelion" embellishment over on the top left. Also across the ribbon on the page I had added 'glitter line' from dress it up digital embellishments. I tend to have so many layers to pages and I really due try to keep good notes of the steps I do but in this case I forgot a few. Hope you have better luck Anne! Also the bent corner technique I learned from CM and you can find it on the Creative Memories go digital fan page on Facebook under tutorials & Freebies. There are so many tricks to learn there I encourage you to take a peek. If you have troubles still Heather post again and I will type out the instructions.

Barb, sorry I almost missed your question. In Storybook select the 'format' ribbon. Under that ribbon you must look at 'effects' to find the 'surfaces' button... once that is pulled up then select cord surface. Hope that helps. I am excited for you to discover this technique... I re-surface almost everything... backgrounds, even pictures themselves! So fun!

Wow....that surface button is so cool. Thank you for telling me about that; I will use it a lot!
