I love this layout - so much so that I tried to copy it. Unfortunately, these directions do not get you to this layout. :( The papers and ribbons aren't quite right. For example, the paper in the upper left corner isn't in the Wish Digital Kit I purchased. Also, you can't add a cord texture to Ribbon6 and get the effect produced above.

Pam

How do you do the "bent corner technique"??

Leslie

Adorable.

Barb

How do you add a "cord surface texture to the ribbon"?

Lori B

Gorgeous page, and beautiful photos!

Heather Alnor

I would like to know how to do the bent corner technique. Please post instructions. Thanks!

Hi All, I have been away on extended vacation and hope I can still help with your questions. I am sorry that my instructions have caused confusion to some of you but I am glad you feel inspired by my page. I assure you all of the papers are indeed from the Wish digital kit. Anne: the paper on the top left of the page is the paper stated however I failed to include that I added "Dandelion" embellishment over on the top left. Also across the ribbon on the page I had added 'glitter line' from dress it up digital embellishments. I tend to have so many layers to pages and I really due try to keep good notes of the steps I do but in this case I forgot a few. Hope you have better luck Anne! Also the bent corner technique I learned from CM and you can find it on the Creative Memories go digital fan page on Facebook under tutorials & Freebies. There are so many tricks to learn there I encourage you to take a peek. If you have troubles still Heather post again and I will type out the instructions.

Barb, sorry I almost missed your question. In Storybook select the 'format' ribbon. Under that ribbon you must look at 'effects' to find the 'surfaces' button... once that is pulled up then select cord surface. Hope that helps. I am excited for you to discover this technique... I re-surface almost everything... backgrounds, even pictures themselves! So fun!

Barb

Wow....that surface button is so cool. Thank you for telling me about that; I will use it a lot!
