Valentine's Love Digital Scrapbook Layout Idea

    Instructions: 
  1. Create a 12 x 12 blank page.
  2. Add the Love Ribbon to page. Rotate 90 degrees clockwise and move to the left of the page.
  3. Insert three photos. Format each photo by selecting a white mat around each. Re-size photos as needed and add a shadow.
  4. Align the two vertical photos vertically. Align the bottom vertical and horizontal photo to where the bottoms line up.
  5. Add the Cheerful Valentine PM 1 to page. Re-size it and align it’s top with the top vertical photo. Add a shadow.
  6. Insert Cheerful Valentine PM 5. Reduce the size and center it on top of the PM 1. Add a shadow.
  7. Insert Stamps L, O, V & E. Spread them out across the page. The L stamp will overlap the photos to the left and the E will be lined up with the photos to the right. Add shadows to all.
  8. Add the happy Valentine’s word art. Reduce the size and place on top of PM 5.
  9. Add the Bmine heart. Reduce the size and add a shadow. Put on top of PM5.
  10. Insert text using font Pea Amanda’s Hand, size 14. Type the text and put on the PM 5.

Rugged Rock Star Digital Scrapbook Layout Page Idea

Instructions: 
  1. Add Rugged Paper 01 from Rugged Paper Palette for background.  Add Picture middle right hand side of the paper.  Add Rugged Paper 22.  Decrease its size and set beside the picture.  Rubber stamp feature picture to Rugged Paper 22. Underneath picture and Blue paper add Rugged Ribbon 08 to page.  Beside picture and set underneath the ribbon below add Rugged Paper22 and change its color wash to pink. Add Rugged Overlay2 and add on top of pink paper. Add ElementsGrungeScratches from Digital Embellishments – Elements package. Set over top and side of picture and pink paper.
  2. Add to the page ElementsPaintedBubbleWrap from the Digital Embellishments – Elements package.   Add a few of the bubble wrap embellishment to create the look and length to the page. 
  3. To the side of the picture add Pink-suede and purp-glit-flower from the Dress It up Digital Embellishments package.  Also to this cluster add GoldStringBow from Digital Embellishments office Supplies – Gold.  Behind the cluster add GreenLeaves from Reflections Digital Power Palette.
  4. Add another picture to the bottom portion of the page.  Frame it in the Rugged
    Frame 1 from the Rugged Digital Power Palette. For added interest add also Rugged Frame 7 and Rugged Frame 8 to the ribbon.  To make it look like they are wrapped on the ribbon use the cutter tools and cut custom cut portions of the circles out.
  5. Custom made star:  From the Distressed Digital Embellishments package cut out a one side of the vintage frame stitched using the cutters tool.  This leaves you with long portion of the frame – looking more like a s’tick’J  From here you copy and paste this ‘stick’nine more times.  Arrange this ‘stick’ to form a star.  Flatten the stick star.  From the Digital Embellishments – Sewing Room – Baby Girl package select and add Stitch3 to your page.  Decrease the size to equal the size of one of your sticks.  Copy and paste this stitch nine times and arrange around the homemade star.  Add Rugged Paper 03 from Rugged Digital Power Palette to the page.  Decrease its size and place underneath the star.  Using the
    custom cutter tool ‘straight lines’ cut the paper to match the shape of your star.  Increase the opacity to 71 to the paper and flatten to the star.  Arrange this star near both pictures on your page.
  6. Add cream colored paper on an angle and journal inside.  Use center of Pink-suede flower from Dress It Up Digital Embellishments as your tack.  Cut out the center using the cutter tool ‘cut
    out shape’- circle.
  7. Add Star word art to page using text, shape tool.  Font used is LainieDay SH.

All Snuggled Up Digital Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

Instructions: 
  1. Apply Changing Season AW P1 as the background.
  2. Place Changing Season AW P12 next.  Cut the paper using the Straight cutting
    tool, choosing Paper rip (use default values).  Cut it so it is approximately 4 ¾” in height. Shrink the paper so that is just 1/8” smaller than the background page, placing it as shown and adding a shadow.
  3. With the Changing Season AW P12 paper (snowflake paper) selected, use the cutting tool.  Choose Corner cutter, selecting Corner 7 from the Winter Delight Digital Corners.  Select the upper left corner checkmark and cut.
  4. Choose Changing Season AW P11.  Using the cutting tool, cut it horizontally using the straight, shaped edge, choosing the Snowflake from the Seasons Digital Edges.  (Make sure to select “keep both sections”) Cut on a color strip, as this will create your foreground/background edges.  Separate these edge pieces using one half on the top, and the other half on the bottom, placing as shown.  Trim the excess paper from the edge pieces, size according to the stripes you desire.
  5. Place the large photo as shown, adding a mat to the photo.  With the photo selected, use the
    cutting tool to create shapes.  Choose Shapes, then from the Playful and Festive Doodling Digital Shapes, choose Shape 17.  Place the shape in the position shown.  Repeat this 3 times as shown.
  6. Select the SnowMuchFun embellishment and place the trees as shown.  Trim the words. Likewise, place the Tree embellishment to left of the group of three trees.
  7. Place WarmMemories embellishment on page and size as shown.   (I erased part of the embellishment, so as to fit my journaling. To do this double click on the embellishment, then with the erase tool, erase the parts you don’t want.) Add a shadow.
  8. Place large photo as shown just above the snowflake edge, size to 6 ½” wide. Add mat.  Add photo on bottom left, sizing to approximately 4 ½” wide, add mat, and rotate as shown.  Add left photo, sizing to 2 ½”, and rotate so that it is parallel to the other photo as shown.
  9. Add Snowflake_Grey to the right  photo corner, size to about 1 ½”.  Then place Button_Blue to each photo corner, sizing to about ½”.
  10. Add Title and journaling using selected Miram Fixed font.  For the title, the “S” is size 192, and the “nuggled” is size 56.  Add “all” using Kunstler Script size 72.

Dreams Come True Dream Digital Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

Instructions: 
  1. Create a 12 x 12 blank page.
  2. Insert Dream Paper 1 as background paper.
  3. Insert an octagon shape. Go to Format ->Properties and change size to 1.1 by 1.1.
  4. Copy and paste 11 more octagons on the page. Select all and add a light shadow.   Move octagons into place like shown.
  5. Go to Cut and Fill. Fill octagons with Dream Papers 4, 6, 12 & 14.
  6. Insert a rounded rectangle. Go to Format->Properties and change size to W:43.14 and H: 2.304. Move into place at top of page.
  7. Go to Cut and Fill. Fill rounded rectangle with Dream Paper 7. Add a heavy shadow.
  8. Insert Dream You’re a Star Mat. Align it horizontally with the rounded rectangle.  Add a heavy shadow.
  9. Insert Dream Ribbon_Blue. Rotate and center it on top of the rounded rectangle and You’re a Star Mat. Add light shadow.
  10. Insert Dream Cloud Talk Bubble. Line up right sides with the You’re a Star Mat.  Add light shadow.
  11. Insert a rounded rectangle. Go to Format->Properties and change the size to W: 4.894 and H:3.511. Add a heavy shadow and place on top of the rounded rectangle and mat.
  12. Go to Cut and Fill. Fill rounded rectangle with Dream Paper 5.
  13. Insert a photo. Resize to approximately 3 x 5 inches. Rotate to the left and add a heavy shadow.
  14. Insert Dream Tag with Ribbon. Rotate and move into place. Add a light shadow.
  15. Insert Journaling using Pea Jo – font size 10. Change font color to dark brown. Place on top of Dream Cloud Talk Bubble.
  16.  Insert Collage_Hot Air Balloons. Add light shadow and move to bottom left of page.
  17. Insert Dream Come True embellishment. Add heavy shadow and place on top of the right corner of the photo.
  18. Insert CircleFlower_Yellow Blue. Add heavy shadow and place on top of the left corner of the photo.
  19. Insert WishBanner. Resize as needed and add heavy shadow. Move into place.
  20. Insert Collage Banner. Move to bottom left of page and add a light shadow.
  21. Create a text path on the Collage Banner. Type your title work using font Pea Jo, size 14.

I Am In Love Digital Scrapbook Layout Page Idea

Instructions: 
  1. Add Paper 14 from the PS I love you Digital Kit.
  2. Place Brush Stroke 8 on the page and enlarge it as shown. Sample the red color in the PS I love you kit to make the brush stroke the same color. (cut & fill – color – sample)
  3. Add your photo to the page and make it a square (right click on the photo – aspect ratio – square). Place a black mat on it. (format photos – mat – choose black) Place the photo as shown and shadow it.
  4. Place Overlay 1 from the Distressed Digital Overlays on the page and drag it bigger so just the edge of it can be soon on your page as shown.
  5. Take the Ribbon Green Embellishment from the PS I love you kit and place it as shown. Add the Ribbon_Grey Dotted Embellishment on top of that as shown. Place them both behind the photo as shown. Shadow them both. (You can drag every embellishment you want in the order you want them in by using the list of used embellishments on the right side of the page. Just drag them behind or above the wanted embellishment in the order you want)
  6. Place 3 of the Simple Curl embellishments from the Fun Stitches Digital Embellishments behind the photos as shown. Add 2 of the Lace of Flower embellishment on top of the flourishes as shown. Shadow them.
  7. Using the shape cutting tool cut a heart out of paper 12 from the PS I love you kit. (right click on the paper – cut out a shape – choose a heart). Place it on the page as shown. Use the 3D filter (format – filters – Edge – 3D) and play with the settings until you get the desired effect. Place a shadow on the heart as shown.
  8. Place the Heart Embellishment from the PS I love you Kit on the page and use the 3D Filter on it as well. Shadow it and place it on the page as shown.
  9. Cut out a dark grey/black heart and place it as shown (Insert – shape). Add a white glow to the heart (format – glow – create a custom glow).
  10. Place 2 more portrait photos to the bottom of the first photo and mat them as you did the first. Shadow them. Add the Love, Love Love embellishment from the PS I love you Kit and shadow it as shown.
  11. Use the Adler Font to write your jounaling and add the Love embellishment from the PS I love you kit in your journaling as shown. Place a white glow behind the journaling.

You + Me = Love Digital Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

Instructions: 
  1. Apply Paper 27 to the background of your layout.
  2. Insert an empty frame (11.5x11.5) and fill it with Paper 33.  Rotate the paper and position as shown. Add a light shadow.
  3. Insert an empty frame (11.25x11.25) and fill it with Paper 3. Rotate the paper and position as shown. Add a heavy shadow.
  4. Insert an empty frame (1.7x7.8) and fill it with Paper 13. Add a light shadow and position as shown.
  5. Add Ribbon_Cream from the P.S. I Love You Digital Kit. Resize and add a light shadow; position above the red rectangle, as shown.
  6. Add Ribbon_GreyScallop.  Rotate it 180º and add a heavy shadow. Resize it and position above the cream ribbon, as shown.
  7. Insert 3 empty frames for your photos. My middle photo is 2.3x3 inches and the smaller ones are 1.7x1.7 inches.  Add your photos and recolor so they are black and white.  Add a light shadow and position as shown above the grey scallop ribbon.
  8. For the black frames, select Insert - Shape - From Art Kit and choose a square. Set the fill to "transparent" and set the line to black with a 1/4" thickness.  Hold down shift to resize the square so it is about 2.5x2.5 inches.  Copy and paste three times so you have 4 frames.
  9. Position the frames as shown, dragging them below the photo layers. Add a light shadow to each.
  10. Insert the embellishments around the photos. I used BradDecoration (twice), Gem_White, and GlitterDot_Grey, from the PS I Love You Digital Kit and Flower_Red (twice), Heart_Burgundy (twice), and Heart_Red (twice) from the PS I Love You Digital Embellishments.
  11. From the PS I Love You Digital Kit, insert the SquareMedallion. I chose to cut the white border from this embellishment. To do this, zoom in on the embellishment so you can see it well.  Choose Cut & Fill - Wand.  Set the threshold in the middle and click once in the white on the border. The whole border should be selected. Choose to "Keep the Unselected Area" and the white border should be cut away. Copy and paste this embellishment so you have two. Position these medallions as shown, layering them beneath the heart layers.
  12. From the PS I Love You Digital Kit, insert the LaceFlower. For my layout, I chose to only keep the red part of this embellishment. To do this, use the Cut & Fill - Wand tool.  Zoom in so you can see the lace flower well.  Set your threshold low (5) and click on the red in the embellishment.  All of the red should be selected. Choose to "keep selected area".  This should delete the white from the embellishment, as shown. Copy and paste so you have two of these embellishments and position as shown in the layout, layering them behind the other embellishments.
  13. Next, insert the YouAndMe title from the PS I Love You Digital Kit.  Resize and place as desired.  I chose to recolor my heart a little darker. To do this, you need to cut the heart away from the rest of the title. Use the Cut & Fill - Custom - Cut Out A Curved Path tool and cut around the heart. Choose to "Keep Both Sections".  Now you will have two layers - One that says "You + Me =" and one with a heart. Select the layer with the heart and use Cut & Fill - Color to color it with the red from the paper (use the sampling option).  Now add a light shadow to both parts of the title.
  14. Insert the ILoveEverythingAboutYou tag from the PS I Love You Digital Embellishments and position as shown. Add a light shadow.
  15. Insert a text box below the red tag and insert your text. Right justify your text to achieve the same look as my layout.  Make your text color white and bold your text to make it stand out against the background paper more.

Winter Digital Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

Instructions: 
  1. Place your favorite winter scene photo on the page as the background. Add Distressed Overlay 1 on top and change the color to white (cut and fill – color – white).
  2. Add the Frames Embellishment from the Enchanted Winter Digital Additions in the top left corner as shown. Place your photos behind it. Add a shadow to the frame as shown.
  3. Place 4 of the Pine embellishments from the Nature Digital Embellishments behind the frames. You will have to turn them each to get the desired effect. In my collage they are all facing different directions and you may have to enlarge some to get them to sit as you want.
  4. Add 3 of the Berries embellishments from the Nature Embellishments behind the frames, but on top of the Pine branches as shown.
  5. Slide one of the Deco Branch Embellishments from the Winter Breeze Digital Kit behind the pine branches as shown. It should just peak up a bit.
  6. Place the Snowflake Trail (Winter Breeze Digital Kit) on both the top right of the page and the bottom left of the page as shown.
  7. Add the Flower Arrangment Embellishment from the Wnter Breeze Kit to the bottom right of the last frame and the top left of the first frame as shown. Shadow them both.
  8. Place the Snowflake simple, Snowflake Round, and Snowflake Ornamental Embellishments rom the Winter Breeze Digital Kit on the page as shown. You will have to slide them behind some of the other embellishments already placed to get them as they are shown.
  9. Add the Snowflakes 1, 2 & 3 from the First Snow Digital Kit to the page as shown. Shadow them.
  10. Place the Letters to spell Winter from the Winter Breeze Digitl Kit and place them together as shown.
  11. Lastly add a text box to the bottom of the page and use the Anke Calligraphic Font to write your journalling in White. If you photo is too dark or light for the words to show up you may have to either shadow the words or put a glow on them.

Instructions:  
  1. Start with a blank 12 x 12 page and add Timeless Paper 1 to background.
  2. Add Torn Brown Paper to 2 corners.
  3. Add Crackled Paint, Distressed Element 2 and Dripping Paint
    Embellishments from Distressed Digital Embellishments and change colour to match page.
  4. Add  Believe in your Dreams
    embellishment from Timeless kit
  5. Add Ink Splatter, Date Stamp and Coffee Stain to backgound paper.
  6. Add date to date stamp with 1942 Report font.
  7. Add 11 photos and shrink to small sizes and add photo mats with Timeless Paper 2 for 10 photos and 1 with white.
  8. Add Notepad embellishment from Digital Embellishments-Office Supplies II.
  9. Add text box and journal with Pea Brooke font.
  10. Add Pen Embellishment from Digital Embellishments - Office Supplies II
  11. Add Plastic clip Paper clip from Digital Embellishments - Office Supplies II to notebook page.
  12. Add text box and add title with Levi Brush font.  
  13. Add heavy shadow to all elements.

Instructions:  
  1. Create a 12 x 12 blank page.
  2. Add Happy Birthday Paper 16 to the background.
  3. Add Forever Young embellishment and enlarge.
  4. Add 4 photos and mat with HB Paper 8.
  5. Add years old tag and add age with Baveuse font.  Add birthday hat to age.
  6. Add orange ribbon and Birthday Girl embellishment.
  7. Add red tag with paper clip and rotate.  Add text box and journal with dandelion in the spring font. 
  8. Add button burst embellishment to tag.
  9. Add light shadow to text and heavy shadow to all other elements.

Loving Life Tropical Tiki Digital Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

Instructions:  
  1. Insert desired paper as "background".
  2. Insert six empty photo frames, resize so that one photo frame is large and the other four frames are the same size (and smaller). Fill five of the frames with photos.
  3. Fill the sixth photo frame with paper.
  4. Take the 4 smaller photos, line up under the "arrange" tab, and then group the photos together under the "arrange" tab as well. Once the photos are grouped, rotate them to into a slight diagonal line.
  5. For the frame filled with paper, insert the following embellishments: "Border-half circles", "Loving life from sunrise to sunset", two (2) "brad-white". Resize as desired.
  6. Under the "Cut & Fill" tab, cut the title embellishment so that it only reads "Loving Life", and recolor if desired. Under the same tab cut the banner so that only a portion of it remains.
  7. Re-size brads as desired.
  8. Add borders (color of choice) to the paper-filled frame (as designed in step 4 above) and the larger photo.  Align these two frames under the "Arrange" tab.
  9. Insert three different ribbon embellishments and adjust length/width as desired.
  10. Space them evenly and taper them down in a diagonal pattern.
  11. Under the "Format" tab, add desired shadows to the various photos and embellishments for a 3-D effect.
  12. Insert journaling using a desired font. This sample used the font titled "Throw my hands up in the air".
