Discover Baby Boy Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank digital 12” x 12” layout.  Add Discover Baby Boy First Year Addition Paper 2 as your background.
  2. Add Discover Baby Boy Arrival Addition Paper 4.  From the Insert tab, cut a horizontal rectangle as shown on the layout.  Add a heavy shadow from the Format tab. 
  3. Insert a 12-1/4” x 5” photo.  Under the Format Photos tab, click Mat and change mat fill.  Select Discover Baby Boy Arrival Addition Paper 3.  Select an all blue area for the mat fill.  Set the width to 3.  Add heavy shadow from the Formats tab.
  4. Add Discover Baby Boy First Year Addition Mat5.  From the Arrange tab, flip to the right.  From the Cut & Fill tab, cut a narrow vertical rectangle from this paper.  Align as shown on the layout.
  5. Add the Moon Embellishment from the Discover Baby Boy First Year Addition and align as shown. 
  6. Add the Flourish embellishment from the Discover Baby Boy Arrival Addition.  Under the Arrange tab, flip the embellishment horizontally.  Enlarge and align as shown.
  7. Add the SweetDreams embellishment from the Discover Baby Boy First Year Addition.   Under the Cut & Fill tab, color the embellishment white.  Add a light shadow under the Formats tab.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, select the wand.  Select the word sweet only and copy the selected area.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, color sweet to match the star and moon.  Add a light shadow under the Format tab.
  8. From the Discover Baby Boy First Year Addition, add the TagGreen embellishment to the striped border on the left.  Add a heavy shadow from the Format tab.  Copy and paste the vertical striped border and place over top of tag so appear as though it is through the punch hole.
  9. Add journaling as desired.

Cheerful Spring Mousepad Project Idea

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank digital 9.75” x 8.34” layout for your mouse pad.  Add Cheerful Spring P3 to the left side ouf your layout.  Add a heavy shadow under the Formats tab.  Insert a rectangle large enough to fill the rest of the background.  Choose a pale yellow in color.
  2. Right-click on the dragonfly embellishment.  Click Rubber Stamp this image.  Select the pink color in your papers.  Change your threshold setting to 4 and your coverage setting to 0.49.  Click create.  Copy and paste this multiple times on your layout.  Rotate each a little differently as shown.
  3. Insert a 7-1/2” x 5” photo.  Under the Format Photos tab, select Mat.  Click Change mat fill and select paper Cheerful Spring P4.  Change the width to 4 and relief to 1.  Align as shown. 
  4. Add the flower ribbon embellishment to the bottom area of your photo as shown.  Add the dragonfly pink embellishment.  Rotate, size and align as shown.  
  5. Add a large letter U with a heavy drop shadow.  Add the tickle me pink embellishment as shown.  Add the blue bird embellishment on the dip of the U.  Add a heavy shadow.
  6. Add a blue butterfly embellishment on the photo.  Add the dragonfly pink embellishment.  Add a heavy shadow and rotate as shown.
  7. Add journaling as desired.

How to Create:

  1. Start with a new 12” x 12” digital layout.  Add Cheerful Spring P4 paper.  Add the  Cheerful Spring PM 6 and unlock aspect ratio by right-cling the mat.  Enlarge across the layout as shown.  Add a light shadow under the Formats tab.  Add a 6-3/4” x 4-1/2” photo and align to the right side of the paper mat as shown. 
  2. Add Cheerful Spring P3 paper to your layout.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, cut a vertical rectangle to create a border as shown.  Erase the unwanted shaded area.
  3. Add a 3-3/4” x 6-1/2” photo.  Under the Format Photos tab, select Mat and Change Mat fill.  Sample the yellow paper mat color and set the width to 3.  Align as shown.  Add a 4” x 2-1/2” photo.  Under the Format Photos tab, change mat with to 2.  Align on border strip as shown. 
  4. Under the Insert tab, add a white circle.  Add a light shadow under the Formats tab.  Add the rain puddles embellishment.
  5. Under the Insert tab, click Shape and then content library.  From the geometric menu, select Tag2.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, select Paper to change to Cheerful Spring P1.  Angle the tag as desired and add a light shadow from the Formats tab.  Add the blue burst embellishment. 
  6. Add journaling as desired.

How to Create:

  1. Add mat 6 to your page and stretch it so that it covers the background and then add mat 1 to the page and stretch it so that is covers most of the page but leaves some of the green showing on three sides. Right click on the brown mat and select “Cut Corners” and then choose the “Loop” with a size of 20 and cut.
  2. Add mat 6 to your page and then you will cut the decorative border out by going to the “Cut&Fill> Straight> Shaped Edge” and choose the Punched Arch. Once you cut the border out of the mat you will then copy that border and then cut the second copied border in half. Enlarge the border as desired and then fill with paper 1. Give both of these borders a light shadow. 
  3. Add three photo boxes to the page that are sized 3.2” x 3.2” and then add the Vintage Frame from Distressed Elements on top of the pictures. Give the frames a light shadow. Place the letter embellishment on the page and move it just behind the three photos and enlarge it to desired size and position as shown.
  4. Place Flower tag 1 and Flower tag 2 over the bottom right corner of the right picture and then place Through the Year embellishment on the top left of the page. Add a text box below the photos and journal.

How to Create:

  1. Start with a custom project, measuring  8.5” wide by 4.47” high.
  2. Add Fabulous “Paper 13” to project.
  3. Add 3-3/4” photo to project with 1 pt. white mat from the “Format Photos” tab.  Add shadow.
  4. Using the wand tool, select a few random flowers and choose “cut around selected area.”  Click on the shape just cut and then right click on the paper of your choice, and select “Fill Selected Element.”
  5. Add text box and type “I.”  Sample color of “Paper 17” and flatten to resize to desired size.  Add shadow.
  6. Add “Love” embellishment.  Add shadow.
  7. Add “Mom” embellishment and recolor to white.  Add shadow.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 8”x8” layout.  Add an 8” x 8” photo to cover your layout.
  2. Add Fabulous Overlay6.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, change the overlay to white.
  3. Add Fabulous Ribbon 4 and Fabulous Ribbon 8 and align as shown on the layout.
  4. Copy and paste your background image.  Under the Cut and Fill tab, cut the photo to a large circle.  Align to match the background photo.  Under the Format tab, add a heavy shadow. 
  5. Add the CelebrateGoodTimes embellishment. 
  6. Add a 2-1/4” x 1-1/2” photo.  Add a 2-1/4” x 3-1/4” photo.  Rotate each as shown.  Select both photos and select the Format Photos tab.  Select Mat and then Change mat fill.    Select paper fill Fabulous Paper 19.  Set the width to 2.
  7. Add journaling as desired.

How to Create:

  1. Start with a new 12" x 12" layout.
  2. Add Fabulous Paper 18 to the background.
  3. Place Fabulous Paper 10 to the page and using the wand tool cut away the white space on the paper. And then add Fabulous Paper 14 to the page and do the same thing for it and wand away the white space. Resize to be a bit smaller and position all the way to the left side as shown.
  4. Add Fabulous Ribbon 4 to the page and position over the teal paper as shown. Then next you will add two 3” x 3” photos on top of the ribbon and give them a white mat with a width of 2. Then give them a shadow pointing to the top.
  5. Add the embellishment You are my Sunshine above the two photos. Place a text box below the photos and journal your story.
  6. Place a photo frame that is sized at 3.53” x 6.56” on the left purple rectangle and also give it a white mat with at width of 2. Now to give the photo the effect that it is three separate photos you will want to create a small white rectangle that is sized at 3.53” x .128” and position them on top of your photo. You can use the align tools to make sure the sides align up exactly.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 8”x8” layout.  Add Fabulous Paper 25 to your background.  Add an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” photo to the top of your layout.  Under the Color tab, change your photo to Black & White.  Align as shown.  Under the Format Photos tab, click on Mat.  Change mat width to 1.
  2. Add Fabulous Overlay3.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, change the overlay to match the purple in the background paper.  Add the BestFriends embellishment and color it white.
  3. Add Fabulous Flower 3.  Reduce size to shown.  Copy and paste 12 additional flowers.  Align along the white border of the photo.
  4. Add the HenryFordQuote embellishment and align as shown.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, use the wand to select the grey text and the flower.  Copy the selected area and change to pink to match the center of the flowers.
  5. Add journaling as desired.

Fabulous 11oz. Mug Scrapbook Project Idea

How to Create:

  1. Create a new custom project 8.25” x 3.85”.
  2. Place Fabulous Paper 26 to page and stretch to fill the entire background.
  3. Add a photo box to your page that is sized at 1.75” x 1.71” and then copy and paste the box two times so that you have a total of three boxes. Position two on the top and one on the bottom in between the top two as shown. Add photo and then give boxes custom shadows, the top two boxes shadows pointing up and the bottom one with a shadow pointing down.
  4. Cut a long narrow rectangle out of Fabulous Paper 3 and place across the middle of the page. Also give this a custom shadow to the top and bottom.
  5. Add the embellishment live.laugh.love to the page and using the Rectangle cutter cut the words into separate embellishments and position in between the photos as shown.
  6. Add Flowers 1, 3 and 4 to the page varying the size and position of the flowers as shown or as your desire. I then added the Party Time embellishment to the page and using the custom cutter I cut away the words Party Time to just leave the leaves to use with my flowers. Give flowers and leaves custom shadows as desired.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 5x7 Landscape Photo Panel.   Insert a vertical photo as shown.  Add two Fabulous Ribbon 1 as shown. 
  2. Add Fabulous Paper 24 to the left side as shown.  Add Fabulous Paper 9 to the right side as shown. 
  3. Add Fabulous Overlay 3 to the left side.  Color a darker purple by clicking the Cut & Fill Tab and choosing the purple with the Color selector.
  4. To make the Crazy 4 You tag: Click the Insert Tab and then Shape.  Click from Content Library.  Under the Geometric  window, click Tag 2.  Click the Cut & Fill Tab, and fill with the Fabulous Paper 40.  Add a heavy shadow.  Add the Crazy4you embellishment.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, color it white.  Rotate and size as shown.  Add PinkPurpleButton from the Fabulous Palette as shown.  
  5. Add journaling as desired.
