How to Create:

  1. Start with a new 12x12 digital project.  Add Fabulous Paper 28 as your background. 
  2. Add Fabulous Paper 34.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, cut paper to a rectangle as shown. 
  3. Add a 5”x7-3/4” photo as shown.  Under the Format Photos tab, change the mat fill by selecting the Fabulous Paper 27 with a width of 3.  Add a Light Shadow under the Format tab.  Arrange as shown.
  4. Add Fabulous Overlay8 as shown.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, select a light color to accent your photograph.  Align to fill the background paper. 
  5. Add the SingWIthAllYourHear embellishment.  On this layout it was changed to dance.  To do this, click the Cut & Fill tab.  Select the Rectangle and draw a box around the word sing.  Invert the shaded area.  Erase the shadow area as desired.  Enter your own text in place of sing using Harlow Solid Italic.  Add a light shadow.
  6. Add a photo.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, select Shapes Cutter.  Select Nature and then Flower 2.  Be sure the marquee is around your desired image.  Erase the shaded area.  Add a heavy shadow.  Align as shown. 
  7. Add the Fabulous Ribbon 7 a shown.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, use the wand to select the grey area only with the Color sensitivity to 66 and Intensity sensitivity to 83. Copy the selected area.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, select the sampled color of the overlay to coordinate.
  8. Add desired journaling to the layout.

Fabulous 20x30 Wall Print Layout Project Idea

How to Create:

  1. Start with a new 20x30 wall print project.
  2. Add a 20” x 5” photo box to top of project.  Copy and paste below one another 2 more times.  Paste another at bottom of project.
  3. Drag and drop Fabulous “Paper 5” into top box.  Drag and drop “Paper 22” into second box.  Drag and drop “Paper  15” into third box.  Finally, drag and drop “Paper 39” into bottom box. 
  4. Add 9” x 10” photo at top right of project.
  5. Add 14-1/4” x 10-1/4” photo and arrange between third and fourth rectangles in white area.
  6. Add 5” square photo over bottom rectangle. 
  7. Add “Paper 11” to bottom right of project.
  8. Add “ConfuciousQuote” embellishment.  Add shadow.
  9. Add “Daughter” embellishment.  Add shadow.
  10. Add “Love” embellishment and use rectangle cutter to cut out heart.
  11. Add “Live.Love” embellishment.  Use rectangle cutter to cut out words.  Fill with “Paper 25” and arrange as shown.  Add shadow.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 5x7 Portrait Photo Panel.   Add a sepia photo as shown.  Add Fabulous Paper 31 to the top of the panel.  Add Fabulous Paper 22 to the bottom of the panel. 
  2. Add the LaughOutLoud embellishment and place as shown.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, choose Color and sample the aqua from the bottom to match the color.
  3. Insert Fabulous Ribbon 6 below the photo as shown.  Add the OrangeYellowButton2 as shown.  Add a drop shadow.   
  4. Select the Fabulous GreenBlue Button 2.  Right-click and choose rubber stamp to this page.  Choose the orange color of the top paper as the color.  Change the threshold to 65.  Adjust the coverage as desired and create.  Copy and paste this button twice.  Change the color of one button to yellow to match the button on the ribbon below. 
  5. Copy and paste again an orange rubber stamped button.  Change the opacity to 50% under the Format Tab.  Enlarge and arrange as shown.
  6. Add journaling in Wide Latin font as shown.  Add drop shadow to journaling.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 16” x 24” layout.   Add the Cheerful Spring P1 paper to the top of the layout.  Add the Cheerful Spring P3 paper and align at the bottom of P1 paper as shown.  Add Cheerful Spring P2 paper to the bottom of the layout and arrange layers as shown.
  2. Under the Insert tab, insert a rectangle that is 9” x 2-1/2” and sample the pink color from the papers to color. Align along the right edge of the layout and add journaling as desired.
  3. Add a large photo.  Under the Format Photos tab, click Select and then select Cutouts from the drop down menu.  Choose bubbles.  Arrange photo as shown.
  4. Add pink butterfly embellishment and rotate as shown.  Add the sunshine embellishment along with your own text that reads, “you are my”.    Align as shown.
  5. Add any additional journaling as desired.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 8.25” x 3.85” layout.  Add Cheerful Spring P1 to the background.
  2. Add two 2-1/2” x 3-7/8” photos.  Rotate and align photos as shown.  Select both photos and click on the Format Photos tab.  Select Mat and change width to 1.
  3. Add a 1-3/8” x 2-1/4” photo.  Under the Format Photos tab, select Mat and change width to 1 and color as desired.  Align as shown.  Add a light shadow under the Format tab.
  4. Add four of the burst embellishment.  Make different sizes and different colors to coordinate with your photos.  Align and layer as shown.
  5. Under the Insert tab, add a red circle.  Add a light shadow under the Format tab.  Add the SinginInTheRain embellishment.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, change the color to white.
  6. Add journaling as desired.

How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 8.5” x 4.47” layout.  
  2. Add a horizontal photo to cover the entire layout.
  3. Add 2 bird on a branch embellishments.  Under the Arrange tab, flip one horizontally and align as shown.
  4. Add several ladybug embellishments as shown.
  5. Add desired journaling.

How to Create:

  1. Start with a new 12x12 digital project.
  2. Add paper 4 to the background.
  3. Add three photo frames to the left side of the page that are 3.68” x 3.68” and use the “Align” tools to get them perfectly straight and then fill with papers 1, 2 and 3.
  4. Add two photo boxes the first one being 6.68” x 5.07” and the second on being 2.94” x 3.75” and place the smaller photo box on top of the larger on the left side. I matted the larger photo with paper 3 and a width of 2, and matted the smaller photo with paper 4 and a width of 2 also. Give both of the photos a light shadow.
  5. Add paper 3 to your page and use the “Cut&Fill> Straight> Paper rip” to tear away most of the paper just leaving a nice thing strip to go down the right side of the page and then give it a nice light shadow to the left. Add flourish 4 and swirl 3 to the top right corner of the page on top of the torn strip of paper you just added. I recolored the elements to match the colors of the papers that I used.
  6. Then I added the “Loving Heart” embellishment under the photo along with the swirl 1 over the top of the bottom right corner of the photo.

How to Create:

  1. Start with a new 12” x 12” layout.  Add Cheerful Spring PM 5 to the layout.  Enlarge and align as shown.
  2. Add Cheerful Spring PM 3 to the layout and enlarge and align as shown.  Add flower ribbon embellishment to the bottom of the layout. 
  3. Add an 8-1/4” x 5-1/2” photo.  Center on the layout as shown.  Under the Format Photos tab,   click Select.  Under the frames menu, select Standout 1. 
  4. Add two bumblebee embellishments as shown.  Align and rotate as desired.  Add a heavy shadow under the Format tab.
  5. Type “Family”.  Flatten the layer in the Arrange tab.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, select to fill with Paper Cheerful Spring P1.  Add a light shadow under the Format tab.  Align as shown.
  6. Add the Cheerful Spring PM 6.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, cut a rectangle to 7-1/4” x 3-1/2”.  Align as shown.  Add three 2-1/4” x 3-3/8” photos.  Under the Format Photos tab, click Select and under the Frames menu select Black Tab.  Align as shown.
  7. Under the Insert tab, add a folder shape from the Geometric content library.  Select white as the color and click create.  Add a heavy shadow under the Formats tab.  Size and arrange behind your photo mat as shown.  Add journaling as desired.  Add the blue flower embellishment to the corner of the folder.

12x18 Fabulous Calendar Scrapbook Project Idea

How to Create:

  1. Open the June 12x18” calendar page.
  2. Insert the green paper as the background.
  3. Insert a white rectangle and position it under the calendar boxes.
  4. Insert the photo. My photo was approximately 5" x 6".
  5. Insert a text box in the negative space in the photo and add journaling.
  6. Insert another white rectangle and position it under the photo.
  7. Insert a text box and type “FASHIONISTA” using Aharoni as the font. Rotate the text box so that the text runs from the top of the page to the bottom. Play with the font size until it exactly matches the mat. Move the text box so the bottom of the letters touch the mat. Select the mat and the text and flatten them. Fill the newly flattened layer with the pink striped patterned paper.
  8. Now make the sun. Insert 6 ribbons. Flip one 90 degrees CW. Manually rotate the other two ribbons so they cross over the perpendicular ribbons. Select all of the ribbons and align them vertically and horizontally. Flatten them and fill the newly flattened layer with the yellow striped patterned paper.
  9. Insert the yellow button and position it over the yellow sun you just created.
  10. Insert another ribbon at the bottom of the page and fill it with the same yellow striped paper.
  11. Insert a white rectangle.

  1. Start with a new 8x12 calendar project.
  2. Add Fabulous “Paper 14” to page.  Right click and select properties.  Enter “0” for top and left measurements.
  3. Add photo in top left corner of page.
  4. Add a square photo, sized approximately 2-1/2” and align to bottom left of rectangle as shown.
  5. Add “YouAreMySunshine” embellishment.
  6. Add “Ribbon 4,” “Fabulous Flower 1,” “White Yellow Button,” and “Daughter” embellishments to calendar and add light shadow.
