How to Create:

1. Use Nancy ODell Recipe Digital Kit page 4 for background.  Insert picture in the bottom right of the page.  Cut out the picture and blend edges to blend into the background paper.
2. Add RibbonBuckle 2 from Reminisce Digital Embellishments to the top 1/3 of the page.  Stretch the ribbon to expose only the ribbon not the buckle.  Above the ribbon add paper29 from Divine Digital Power Palette.  Add surface texture burlap to the paper and increase the contrast.  Over that paper now add paper13 from Divine Power Palette and increase opacity to 63.  Add Distressed Digital overlay6 to the top portion of the page and underneath the ribbon.  Change the color of that overlay to match tie inthe picture color (in this case I sampled the color of the jeans).  Add surface texture burlap to the overlay.  Increase the size of the overlay so that the sides and top are not exposed.
3. Additional pictures to display in the Vintage Frame Stitched from Distressed Digital Embellishments.  Add 2 PurpleClip1 from reminisce Digital Embellishments to make the frames appear they are attached to the ribbon.  Change the color of the clips to suit the picture.  I used increased the sharpness of the clip as well as decreased the brightness of the clip. 
4. From the Dress It Up Digital Embellishment Package I used the Blue-twirl Ribbon to stretch across the clips.  I cut out sections of the ribbon, using the custom cutter tool, to appear they were attached to the clips and wrapped through the clip wholes.  Behind the frames I draped the PurpleRibbon from the Dress It Up Embellishments and changed the color wash to match a color from the picture. In one of the frames I inserted again the paper4 from the Nancy ODell Recipe Digital Kit for journaling over. 
5. I added word art using fonts Lainey Day and Handwriting Draft in the top left portion of the page.  In the top right portion of the page I added Paper4 from Nancy ODells Recipe Digital Kit and increased opacity to 71.  I cut out the stitching off of paper3 from Fabulous All Girl Digital Kit and used this along the edges of the paper to add more interest. 

Digital Scrapbook Page Project Idea - Motherhood

How to Create:

1. Create a new 12x12 project.
2. Go to “shapes” tab and geometric shapes. Cut circles out of papers 17, 19, 22, 28 from the Delight Power Palette. And resize and arrange on page as shown. You will need to make one circle white. Give all circles a heavy shadow.
3. Go to “Photo” tab and place photo frame on page. Mat photo with a circle cut out and no color. Fill frame with picture. Give picture a heavy shadow.
4. Add the circle frame from Digital Embellishments Frames & Borders. Change the color to brown by using the color feature on the tools tab. Enlarge frame to fit around the edge of the largest circle. Move frame backwards using the layouts tab until it is behind all circle except the largest.
5. Add circle frame from Digital Embellishments Doodles. Change the color to brown by using the color feature on the tools tab. Resize frame to fit around the fourth largest circle and place at the edge of the circle.
6. Add flower circle embellishment to page and resize to make smaller. Place around the edge of the third largest circle. Copy and paste until you have a total of seven. Move and position the flower circle embellishment around the edge of the circle. Give embellishments a heavy shadow.
7. Add "Motherhood" text to by going to text, then click on Fancy drop down menu, then select different alpha set and be sure to click on the swirly alphabet set. Then type in the text box your title. Use color tool to change the color to white. You will need to ungroup the letters and position around the edge of the second largest circle. Give all letters a heavy shadow.
8. Add eyelet embellishment from Digital Embellishments sewing room baby girl. Resize and place at the end of Motherhood. Copy eyelet and paste two times to have a total of three and position beside the first eyelet. Give eyelets a light shadow.
9. Add tag 3 to page and make smaller. Use the green ball and rotate 180 degrees and place on right side of photo. Copy tag and paste, and then place on top of first tag. Using the green ball rotate slightly as shown and align the holes on the tag. Place green button from Digital Embellishments Sewing Room Baby Girl on top of the holes on the tags. Give both tags a heavy shadow.
10. Place text box on top of tag and have it extend out past the end of the tag and write the words “Love Love Love” and color brown. Copy text box and paste, and then move on top of second tag. Right click on text box and flatten. Use the straight cutter in the “tools” tab to cut off the excess words past the end of the tag.
11. Create a test box and journal. To get text in a circle pattern I flatten the text box after I make sure I have everything exactly as I want it. Then I use the rectangle cutter in the “tools” tab to cut off each word one at a time. I use the green ball to rotate the words as needed to position around the edge of the white circle. It can be a slow process but worth the end result. If a word is too long then you might need to cut up the word with the straight cutter and position each letter individually if needed.

How to Create:

1. Create a new desktop wallpaper project. Select the resolution that you need for your computer and click blank and then next.
2. Add paper 4 from Pastel Spring PP Aditions to background.
3. Cut out a shape from paper 3. Go to "geometic" and "rounded square" and postions as needed onto paper and cut. Give heavy shadow.
4. Add photo to page. Under the "photos" tab go to "mat" and "geometric" and select "rounded square" shape and mat. Be sure to keep the mat width at 0. Give a light shadow.
5. Add tulip to page and use the custon cutter tool to cut away the tulips from the tag. Place tulip of the bottom left corner of photo.
6. Add butterfly2 and Dragonfly2 to page and position as shown. Give a light shadow.
7. Add the word "Love" from the Cottage Garden Digital Kit to page.
8. Add quote from Expressions of those we Love to page. Give the quote a cutsom color to match the word "Love". Go to the "tools" tab and select "color" and match the color to the word "Love".

1. Start with a new project on SBC+, under Desktop Wallpapers choose the screen that fits your computer. For this wall paper I chose 1280 x 1024 Screen Resolution.
2. Add the background paper and size to fit, Paper from Cottage Garden Digital Kit, Paper #5
3. Add picture of choice to wallpaper and size to fit. For this picture I wanted Caroline’s hand to look like it was extending out and beyond the picture frame. To do this, copy and paste picture after it is the size you want it to be on the wallpaper. Using the cutting tools erase all of the picture except for the part you want to extend beyond the full picture. (I wanted only the cup of her hand, so I erased and cut away everything but that)
4. Next line up the cut away portion directly over the picture to match perfectly. Click on the full photo and using the Straight Cutting Tool, cut and erase the portion of the picture that starts from the point of your cut from the copied page. (For this page it would be the point at which the palm of her hand lines up with her wrist and arm)
5. I changed the hue of the background paper to match the color of the flower petals.
6. Using the Shapes – Tags cut tag number 0007 and size to fit page. I used the color wand to get the exact color I wanted from the flower petals.
7. Add text to wallpaper.
8. From the Wishes & Dreams Digital Kit Embellishments cut away one sparkle from Flourish White and copy paste many times and place in swirl patterns on wallpaper.
9. Add flowers from Cottage Garden Digital Kit, change color to white. (Tools tab, top of screen, Color) Add heavy and light shadows.

Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - Mother's Day card

How to create:

1. Create a new custom project in StoryBook Creator Plus.
2. Name your project and then create the project 4-1/4" x 5-1/2".
3. Add Paper12 from the Cottage Garden Kit to the background.
4. Add fre Mother tag to the card as shown. Give it a heavy shadow using the shadow tool.
5. Add Ribbon1 to the bottom of the card. Give it a light shadow.
6. Add Button1 to the right side of the ribbon. Give it a heavy shadow.

Finished size:
4-1/4" x 5-1/2"

Digital Project Idea - Mother's Day Card

How to Create:

1. This size is 4.5 inches wide by 12 inches in height.  You could easily shrink it down to your own desired size.
2. Drop the Green Paper from Cottage Garden in the Background.
3. To add the distressing I actually wanded the distressed edge out of this same paper and gave it a light shadow.
4. The Letters that form "Happy Mothers Day" were all cut from out of the expressions in this kit (on some letters I used the shape cutters... such as ovals, rectangles and circles to make more exact cuts).
5. I then added the Funky Frame Freebie.
6. The "I love you", flower embellishment and swirls (cut from out of an expression) are all from this kit as well.
7. The extra flowers I used are from the Flower Swirl Embellishment from the Cottage Garden Digital Kit. I cut out the flower made it dark red I then added another copy of it right on top and made it white. Then I Applied the Edge Blur and Opacity effect to give it that look... as well as a white custom shadow!
8. Top it off with the Hinge Freebies and you are done! :)

How to Create:

1. Start with a new project on SBC+, under Desktop Wallpapers choose the screen that fits your computer.  For this wall paper I chose 1280 x 1024 Screen Resolution.
2. Add the background paper and size to fit, Paper from Baby Love Pre-Designed Pages.
3. Add the scalloped paper and size to fit, leaving 1/2” white space border around edge. Click on Scalloped paper. Under Tools Tab (top of screen), click color, select lime green color paper from Recipe Book Pre-Designed Pages. Add light shadow.
4. Next add paper #14 from Jewel Achievement and size to fit, leaving 1/2” white space border around edge. Add heavy shadow.
5. Using the Geometric Shapes make a 5” x 5” red square and place in center of Wallpaper.
6. Copy and paste the red square. Click copied red square, click color, click lime green color. Down size square just a smidge by grabbing the corner, center in red square.
7. Repeat step 6 to make white square.
8. Add picture. Click on picture and Flatten (Layout Tab, top of screen, Flatten).
9. Soften edges of picture to desired look. To do this, use the Tools Tab, More, Edge Blur. (I used Memory Manager 3.0 to remove the color and to add color to Caroline’s eyes, to make her beautiful blue eyes shine)
10. Next add butterfly and swirls, leaves and flowers of all shapes to your page and make various sizes, place on page in desired location. (Flowers and Leaves from Jennifer Fehr and Dawn Oldham - CM freebies) (Butterfly and Swirls from Cottage Garden Digital Kit). To make flowers white and red, click on flowers you want to be white, then click Tools Tab, Color, White. Repeat steps for red flowers. Repeat step for Butterfly and Swirls.
11. If desired add buttons to center of a few flowers, change Hue to match green. (Enhance Tab, top of screen, Hue) (Buttons from Digital Embellishments – Sewing Room – Romance) Also you can add a red circle, made from Geometric Shapes, to the center of a few flowers.
12. Add Swirls to bottom right corner of page. Give bottom swirls a Color Gradient. (Tools Tab, Gradient, 1st Color lime green, 2nd Color White) I also cut a few swirls to add behind the picture, using the cutting tools. (Tools Tab, Cutters, Custom Cutter)
13. Fonts used are Dirty and Classic, Jane Austen

How to Create:

Drop Paper 14 (Give Thanks) in Background

Add Paper 15 on top.  Now select the Paper and go to "Tools" select the wand tool and click all over the paper an allow it to grab the stripes here and there.  Delete the rest and then give it a heavy shadow.

I also wanded the leaves out of Paper 15 as well and put them in the front of the photo!

Next Create a circle shape and then cut out the centre leaving just a thin outline.  Resize the circles into a variety of sizes and place inside of one another creating a pattern like the one seen here.

I then added little brads that I saved from the "Shabby Cottage" free predesigned 8x8 book.

The note pad is from our Office Supplies kit II and the Fonts used in the text are VTKS Dear Love for Mom and Georgia for the text.

For the individual text boxes I created them with rectangles colored biege along with a twead texture and with the distressed FREEBIE frame.

The staples can be found in the Office Supplies Kit as well.

For the Frame around the Photo- Create a square, in this case I made it dark red.  Go to your tools and using your "cutters" cut out a square from within the center of your red square leaving farily wide edges.  You will need fairly wide edges so you will be able to apply the grass edge found in the photos Panel.  Enlarge it and size it to frame your photo!

How to create:

1. Create a new desktop wallpaper project. Select the resolution that you need for your computer and click blank and then next.
2. Add Paper6 from the Delight  Power Palette kit to the background.
3. Next go to the Tools ribbon and click on "More" at the very end on the right. A drop down menu will appear and next you will click on "Edge Blur."
4. Make sure your background paper is selected and unlocked so that you can give the edges a blur. Soften them up to about 35 and click Accept.
5. Add freebie white scalloped border across the desktop horizontally as shown. Using the color tool, change the color to blue.
6. Place photo on project.
7. Add freebie distressed frame to project. Size the frame just slightly bigger than the photograph. Right click on the frame, go to Order and then click "Move to the front" so that the frame is on top of the photograph. Give the frame a heavy shadow using the shadow tool.
8. Add ILoveYou embellishment from the Delight Power Palette to the left of the framed photograph.
9. Place the SilverString from the Digital Embellishments - Office Supplies - Silver kit on the left side of the framed photo as shown.
10. Add Tag4 from Delight Power Palette embellishments to the bottom right of the photograph. Give it a heavy shadow.
11. Create text box inside tag and add sentiment.
12. Add Pin1 from the Digital Embellishments - Sewing Room - Romance to the tag.
13. Add SilverGlassBrad from the Digital Embellishments - Office Supplies - Silver to left side of the scallop border.
14. Create text box to the right of the photograph and add sentiment.

How to create:

Drop Paper 23 in the background and then go to Tools and then to color and enhancements.  Select "Curves" and drag the slider backwards (in order to lighten the brown to a biege) stop dragging when you are pleased with the color.

For the swirl and snowflake I cut these from the Title expression "A snowflake is Winters Butterfly".  Changed the hus to an icy blue and then copy and pasted the swirl again to have it frame top and bottom!

The little dots across the top are little snowflake brads from the Cozy Winter kit.  Just add one resize it, copy and paste as many as needed and then align them by allplying the alignment "Tool".

Add a negative strip (you can find a few options for this in our Freebies section)!  Hide photos in behind by cropping and rotating.

The "I Love You" and Swirl are located in the Cottage Garden Digital Kit (Ijust covered up the flower inside the swirl with a snowflake from the Cozy winter and changed the color by utilizing the Enhance Tool up top and sliding the hues and saturations around!  Play with this tool and you can make all kinds of wonderful color combinations!
