Faithbooking Presentation

Rhonda_Snapshot

Hello fellow Faithbookers,

I am so excited to let you know of a new presentation I have just completed. Like many of you, I have found that our past Faithbooking information has not been motivational
enough to inspire people to make the time to create a Faithbook. I have been praying and seeking a solution that would provide the needed “spark” to really move people to action. I believe we now have that spark.

This newest presentation inspires people to create an affirmation/faithbook. Basically it is an album that does
two things: affirms and builds self-esteem AND encourages and increases faith. In the presentation, I share some startling statistics about the epidemic of low-self esteem and how it is damaging our children. I also give documentation regarding the small percentage of children that will grow into adulthood with their faith intact. (Most kids abandon their faith by adulthood).  I have also added some alarming statistics about alcohol abuse.

This new album concept with a new set of Ten Questions equips parents and grandparents to create an album that will build self-esteem and boast a child’s faith, no matter their age. No parent wants to see their child suffer and this album is one more tool for parents to help them raise strong, faith-filled children.

I gave this presentation TWICE in September and received a very encouraging response. One other comment that I made to the listeners was this: “
Don’t think in your mind that you will do something with every picture that you have ever taken. We take too many pictures and we don’t need that many pictures. The best option is to find SOME pictures that you can use to document meaningful stories in your life. You will feel a huge sense of accomplishment when you create ONE album with some of your pictures rather than believing that someday you will successfully organize all of your photos”.

I hope you’ll read through the presentation and questions. You’ll notice I share
several personal stories. You are free to use my stories or to be even more effective, find some of your OWN personal stories to use in the presentation instead of mine.  And, please feel free to change this presentation to fit your style and passion. I hope I have given you the basis of a very effective concept.

Your next step would be to contact MOPS groups, women’s groups, adoption agencies, etc to share this valuable information. To also help you, I have posted a few pages within the presentation from a Storybook I completed using the new Ten Questions. (I would be happy to send you a link so that you can see the entire book, if you would like.)

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. To locate the presentation that I give, please click here. To see the 10 questions I ask, please click here. Let’s share our experiences with one another as we bring this new message to audiences this fall.

Thanks again for your passion for faith and affirmation!

Women's Expo Update!

Rhonda_Snapshot  Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for your comments and support for the Women’s Expo. I have an update that I am excited to share.

The Women’s Expo in Charlotte that was planned for June 5th was pushed back until
September 18th. The organizers wanted more time to advertise the event adequately so they changed the date. I have finished the first draft of my message and would love your continued prayer support as I write.  Laura Bush and Sarah Palin are still scheduled to speak during the event as well. We each have an hour-long keynote message.

I also am planning my fall trips and would love to help you with your own Faithbooking events. If you know of a church that may be interested in having me speak about Faithbooking, please do let me know. I would be happy to send a paper or electronic press kit to give them more information.

Hope to see many of you at Showcase at the end of July.

The Lord’s Blessings back to you,
Rhonda

Your help is needed!

Rhonda_Snapshot I am excited to share with you all some amazing news AND, I need your help! Yesterday, I received a phone call from an event planner and I am confirmed to speak at a Women’s Expo in Charlotte, NC on June 5th. There are three speakers that day; Laura Bush, Sarah Palin and me!! They have given me 55 minutes to speak on a topic of my choice with NO limitations. Here is the link to read more about the Expo. Once on the home page click on the right link that says "Complete Woman’s Expo". My picture and bio are on the site. They are expecting 18,000 women to attend!

I am humbly requesting prayer as I write my speech and prepare for this event. I feel very strongly about the importance of including Faithbookking in my talk. The theme of the event is HOPE and the planners want every woman who attends to leave feeling more hopeful about their life. In addition to asking you for prayer, I would like to know how faithbooking has given you hope. I believe very passionately that when we write our God stories, our faith AND hope are increased and we are given strength for tomorrow’s challenges. I would love to hear stories from you that I could include in my message at this women’s Expo.

The deadline for my speech is May 14th so time is of the essence. I also want to invite you to attend the Expo – the tickets are FREE. Perhaps some of you live near Charlotte or have an inexpensive way to travel to North Carolina to attend. I’d love to have you there praying beside me!

Thank you in advance for your loving prayer support and assistance!
Rhonda

Greetings from the road!

Rhonda_Snapshot Greetings from the road! I’ve been having so much fun traveling from one regional event to another and meeting so many Consultants and Creative Memories customers. It’s such a blessing to know that there are so many people dedicated to sharing and celebrating their stories so that they’re always documented and never forgotten. I'm always so inspired by your stories and your compassion for sharing the Creative Memories Mission with me. It's all these wonderful stories that has prompted a change to the Faithbooking newsletter. Instead of sending out a quarterly newsletter, we’re revamping the faithbooking site to function as a blog. This gives me an opportunity to hear more of your stories. And by using a more traditional blogging structure, not only will it be easier for me to post my thoughts, but it will enable you to easily share your stories. So I encourage you all to visit the new faithbooking.com and share with everyone how faithbooking has enriched your life. And be sure to bookmark our page and visit it often. Thank you all for your dedication and continued support. I look forward to hearing from you all very soon.
