How to Create:
Cut a 4-1/2” portion from the paper towel roll.
Cut a 1-1/2” circle from the White Cardstock using the Circle Patterns and Red Cutter. Cut a 4” x 8” piece of tissue paper and fold it in half. Adhere the White Cardstock circle in the center of the folded tissue paper. Using a needle, puncture a hole in the center of the White Cardstock circle. String a 12” piece of thread through the hole. Secure the thread with a paper clip on non-tissue paper side.
Adhere the tissue paper to the bottom of the paper towel roll. Make sure the White Cardstock circle is on the inside of the paper towel roll.
Cut (3) 1/2” x 12” strips of the 4th of July red paper. Fold each of the strips in accordion style. Adhere the 3 strips on opposite side of the paper towel roll.
Punch (2) 1” circles from the 4th of July red paper using the Circle Maker. Adhere the circles approximately 3” from the bottom of the string to create a circle “sandwich.”Adhere a star 4th of July Sticker on each side of the circle “sandwich.”
Adhere a 4-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of the blue paper around the paper towel roll.
Using a needle, punch 2 holes approximately 1/4" from the top of the open portion of the paper towel roll on opposite sides. Cut a 24” piece of string and pull it through both holes. Make sure both strings are even and then slide a paper clip to act as a balancing piece for the top.
Fill the tube with scrap pieces of paper to create the confetti.
Cut a 3-1/2” circle from the 4th of July blue paper using the Circle Patters and Red Cutter. Make a straight cut to the middle of the circle and then fold the two sides together to create a circle “hat.” Adhere the two ends together. Make a hole in the center of the “hat” and slide both ends of the string through it. Secure the ends to create a loop.
Cut a 1” x 12” strip of the 4th of July red paper and create an accordion fold. Tape the two ends together and push the center down to create a pinwheel. Secure the pinwheel onto a 1” piece of White Cardstock. Adhere the pin wheel in the center of the paper towel roll. Adhere the hat from the 4th of July Stickers in the center of the pinwheel.
Adhere the 4th of July border sticker on the bottom portion of the paper towel roll.
Hang up the finished product, stand under it and pull the string to release the confetti.
