How to Create:
Use Platinum Shimmer Cardstock as the base.
Using the Border Maker System and the Stitched Scallop Cartridge along one long edge, punch an 8-1/2” x 7” piece of the white with circle pattern paper. Adhere flush with the left edge and 1/2” from the top edge.
Punch another long edge of an 8-1/2” x 5” piece of the blue pattern paper. Adhere below the first piece, with the scallop edge 1/2” from the bottom edge.
Trim approx. 2” from one side of the gray die-cut paper. Adhere the cut edge flush with the right side edge of the layout.
Mat a 4-1/2” x 4” photo onto Taffy Cardstock. Trim, leaving a thin border. Mat onto a dark gray Photo Mat. Trim, leaving a thin border. Adhere to the lower left corner of the layout.
Using the Border Maker System and the Double Heart Chain Cartridge, punch a 7” border from Black Shimmer Cardstock. Adhere over the seam of the white and blue papers. Punch another border from Taffy Cardstock. Using Foam Squares, adhere three hearts to the center of the solid black hearts. Apply Enchanted Epoxy Stickers to the center of the Taffy hearts.
Mat (3) 3” x 4” photos onto Taffy Cardstock. Trim, leaving a thin border. Adhere, as shown.
Journal on a piece of the white pattern paper, using Girls Are Weird 14 font. Cut into strips and adhere to the layout. Using a Dual-Tip Black Pen, doodle around the edges.
Using the Cricut and the This & That Cartridge, cut the title by setting the Cricut to 3”. Cut the first layer from Midnight Shimmer Cardstock by pressing the Icon and wrench keys. Cut bottom layer of wings from White Cardstock by pressing the Icon, Shift and wrench keys. Cut the top layer of wings from Taffy Cardstock by pressing the Icon Layer and the wrench keys. Adhere all layers, using Foam Squares under the Taffy layer. Adhere to the layout.
Cut the worm from Midnight Shimmer Cardstock by setting the Cricut to 1”. Press the “Flip” key, the Icon and Flower1 keys. Cut the next layer from Taffy Cardstock by pressing the Icon, Shift and Flower 1 keys. Using Foam Squares adhere the layers. Adhere to the layout.
Using a Dual-Tip Black Pen, doodle lines around the die-cut paper edges.
