How to Create:
Use black Enchanted Embossed Paper as the base of your layout. Using the Scallop Rotary blade, trim the striped Enchanted Paper to 11-1/4” and adhere as shown.
Using the This & That Cricut Cartridge, make the following cuts:
Scalloped circle –
- 10-1/2” Gear (Anywhere Font) from ivory Enchanted Designer Paper
- 10-3/4” Gear (Anywhere Font) from red Enchanted Designer Paper
- 10-1/2” Gear-s (Anywhere Font) from black leaf Enchanted Embossed Paper
Adhere these pieces together as shown.
Adhere a 4” x 6” photo to a red Enchanted Storybox. Adhere to the layout. Adhere a 4” x 3” photo using Foam Squares.
Using the Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge, make the following cuts:
Branches – two 10” Tree3 (Layer) from green leaf Enchanted Embossed Paper
On the upper tree branch, trim the bottom branches as shown.
Using the This & That Cricut Cartridge, make the following cuts:
Upper left Chick – BE SURE TO USE THE FLIP OPTION!
– 2” Chic from black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– 2” Chic from ivory Enchanted Designer- Paper
Adhere the above pieces together just offset slightly since they are the same size.
– 2” Chic-s from teal snowflake Enchanted Designer Paper
– 2” Chic (Layer) from red dot Enchanted Storybox
Adhere these pieces together as shown using Foam Squares. Add a black epoxy as the eye.
Bottom right Chick -
– 3-1/2” Chic from black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– 3-1/2” Chic from ivory Enchanted Designer- Paper
Adhere the above pieces together just offset slightly since they are the same size.
– 3-1/2” Chic-s from teal snowflake Enchanted Designer Paper
– 3-1/2” Chic (Layer) from red dot Enchanted Storybox
Adhere these pieces together as shown using Foam Squares. Add a black epoxy as the eye.
Using the This & That Cricut Cartridge, make the following cuts:
Title Tags –
– cut five 2” Hammer (Monogram) from red dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut two 2” Egg (Monogram) for the “T”s from turquoise dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 2” Bat (Monogram) for the “W” from turquoise dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut two 2” Cat (Monogram) for the “E”s from turquoise dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
Adhere these pieces together as shown using Foam Squares.
Cut five thin strips from the red Enchanted Storybox. Tie a not on the end. Slide onto the tree branch. The second “E” tag you will have to tie around the branch since you won’t be able to slide into that area due to the upper branches. Adhere the tree branch and tags to the upper area of the layout as shown.
Adhere the other branch to the bottom area as shown, trimming the excess.
Adhere the chicks, using Foam Squares.
Using the This & That Cricut Cartridge, make the following cuts:
“You’re too” title – repeat each cut on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 1-1/2” Chic (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut three 1-1/2” Cap (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 1-1/2” Snglases (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 1-1/2” Cat (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 1-1/2” Egg (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 1-1/2” Flower2 (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
– cut 1-1/2” Purse (Anywhere Font) on the white dot and the black dot Enchanted Embossed Paper
Adhere the white letters on top of the black letters to give a shadow effect. Adhere to the branch as shown using Foam Squares.
Adhere the red Enchanted Epoxy Stickers on the tree branches as desired.
Add journaling with the Black Dual-Tip Pen.
