December 25th Be Merry Scrapbook Layout Project Idea

How to Create:
Start with two sheets of red patterned paper from the “Be Merry” line as the background for this double page layout.
Trim two sheets of white/neutral dotted patterned paper to 11” wide x 8” tall. Trim one of these pieces so that the red, circular “25” ends up on the bottom right corner. Adhere these pieces to each side of the layout onto the red patterned paper. Adhere each sheet 1” up from the bottom of the layout and 1” from the outer edge of each sheet of red paper. The white/neutral dotted paper should meet in the middle of the layout and the “25” should end up on the bottom right side of the layout.
Trim two sheets of green patterned paper to 11” wide x 2” tall. Adhere these pieces to each side of the layout onto the red patterned paper. Adhere each sheet 1” down from the top of the layout and 1” from the outer edge of each sheet of red paper. The green paper should meet in the middle of the layout.
Then cut two strips of red/white striped patterned paper to 12” wide x 1” tall. Adhere these strips all the way across both pages of the layout in between the green and white/neutral patterned papers.
Cut two thin strips of blue patterned paper to 12” wide x 1/2” tall and adhere across both sides of the layout just below the red/white striped strips.
Add pictures below the red/white and blue strips. To use on the right side of the layout, mat one picture with a blue photo mat. Adhere the photo slightly crooked over the top of the red/white and blue strips. Adhere that picture with foam adhesive.
Use computer for journaling. Trim journaling into strips. Use photo mats to mat journaling strips on red and green papers. Add journaling around pictures.
Decorate left side of the layout with “Be Merry” title stickers.
Add “December 25” title sticker with Foam Squares around the red, circular “25” on the bottom right side of the layout.
