How to Create:

  1. Create a blank 12x12 template.  Add SoGrateful Paper 12 to the background.  Add SoGrateful Paper 15 to the layout, angled as shown.
  2. To create the chevron pattern:  Under the Insert tab, select Shape from Art Kit.  Add the parallelogram from Webdings.  Rotate the parallelogram clockwise until the shorter sides are vertically straight as shown.  Fill the parallelogram with desired paper.  Copy and paste the parallelogram.  Flip it horizontally.  Align ends together as shown.  Fill with desired paper.  Select both parallelograms.  Continue to copy and paste the two, filling with desired papers to create the chevron effect as shown.
  3. Add SoGrateful Paper 6.  Reduce as shown.  Add the Border_Scallop embellishment.  Rotate as shown and align to the left side of the layout.
  4. Add a photo.  Add the Frame_Red.  Add a heavy shadow.  Add Flower_Brown, Flower_OrangeYellow, Flower_Red and Flower_BrownWithBling embellishments.
  5. Add Ribbon_Polkadot to the upper left corner.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, cut a triangle out of the end of the ribbon.  Add the Flower_Red.
  6. Add journaling and title as desired.
