Christmas Joy Digital Scrapbooking Card
Designed By: Jennifer Gibson

Ingredients (Canada):
How to Create:
- Insert background paper from Holidazzel
Digital Kit, Holidazzel Paper 4. Using
the cut and fill ribbon select the wond option under cutters. Wond out the
white in the paper and separate the white from the colored dots. Keep BOTH sections. Once colored dots are separated use the
format tool and apply a 3D edge effect to them to make them stand out a bit.
- Place on the top portion of the page
BlueTwirl from Dress It Up Digital Embellishments. On ends of the ribbon add Red Pink Cirle
Epoxy from Holidazzel Digital Embellishments package. Under and around the epoxy stickers apply the
distressed edge technique. To achieve this effect right click on your
mouse. Click Edit Image. Click touchup brushes. Click darken.
With a small brush darken the ribbon on which the epozy sticker is
placed to give it depth. If this seems
to complicated, you can apply a shadow.
Using the touch up brushes just allows for you to darken EXACTLY what
you like, more or less, whatever you wish creating a look where it looks really
‘pressed’ due to the pressure of the epoxy.
- Under the ribbon add your pictures. Here i used A LOT. You can add just as many as you wish. To attach the pictures together I inserted stiching
from bashis stitching Digital Embellishments.
Also to the edges of each picture I used the distressed
edging technique as explained above to give the look of quilting.
- Under the pictures and just exposed on the
bottom portion of the card place a paper of your choice. Using the cut and fill ribbon select a sample
color green from one of the dots on the background paper. Also to this paper I added a texture effect
using the format button, Surfaces under Effects. I gave the paper a linen effect and again
rubbed the edges with the touchup
brushes to darken and make them a bit worn. On the green paper add text for your
Christmas Card – “Christmas Joy” using HandwrittenFree font and “from our
family to yours” using lainyday font.
