How to Create:

  1. Add a Paper to your page and change the color to dark grey.  Using the order button make the page normal.  Now you can manipulate the paper and the background will be white.  Now using the Format button apply the (noisy)Fractal Map filter.
  2. Add Ribbon 2 from the Divine Power Palette vertically on the page.  Add Frame 14 from the Digital Embellishments – Frames & Borders package.  Place the frame over the ribbon changing its size to match perfectly.  This will give the ribbon a worn look. Behind this ribbon add Ribbon 3 from Divine.  Expose this ribbon on the right hand side of the blue ribbon.
  3. Add Divine Paper9 to the page.  Rubber stamp this paper using the Insert Tool “Other”.  When you rubber stamp this page you will take away the background color.  Delete the original paper so you are left with only the rubber stamped paper.  Change your stamped paper to color light pink.  Add another paper to the page and make it a dark pink.  Place this paper behind your stamped paper and flatten.  Move this new paper to the left hand side, behind the blue ribbon.
  4. Add your next paper to the page and fill it with a white color.  Using the cutting tool apply a paper rip to the page on the right hand side, slightly on an angle.  Fit this paper once again behind the blue ribbon and behind your pink stamped paper.
  5. You could simply add a picture to the page and place it in a frame for the right hand side.  However in this page the picture was altered.  To achieve this effect the picture used was changed to Black and White.  Using the cutters tool choose the custom cutters option in the rounded edges.  I find it is best to cut slightly outside the image and soften edges so that you do not lose any part of the picture and it looks as natural as possible.  Add to the page Divine paper9.  Rubberstamp this paper so the background paper is lost.  Delete the original paper to leave only the rubberstamped paper.  I changed the color now of the rubber stamped paper to dark grey (the same color as the background).  I fit this paper behind the picture and blended the top and side of the paper.  Add a off-white paper  to the page and fit it behind the picture and stamped paper.   This is now the parameters of the picture.  Because you have altered the picture you can no longer frame /mat this picture using the Format Photos button.  Because of this you must make your own mat.  I used a dark pink (same color as the paper on the left hand side).  For added interest I added another paper and filled it with a dark brown color.  This paper I added a surface texture ‘cord’.
  6. Place on the left hand side of the page ‘Flower Brown’ from the Divine Power Palette.  Inside the flower add ‘Dotgrey silver’ from the Divine Power Palette.  Add additional pictures to the page.  I used the Polaroid frame technique.  To attach the pictures I used ‘Flower2-Grey’ with inserts of ‘Dotgrey silver’ from the Divine Power Palette. 
  7. Add Jounal strips to the page.  I alternated colors I had already in the page.  To each journal strip I fitted the Frame14 from Digital Embellishments- Frames & Borders package to make them look worn.  Add your text to each strip.  To attach the journal strips I used Stitch2 from Basic stitching Digital Embellishments to the big Blue ribbon.
  8. Add Divine word art “Memories” to the page.  Use a fractal Map “noisy” to add texture to the words.
