How to Create:
- Create a blank 12x12 template. Add Cheerful Tropical P4 as your background. Add Cheerful Tropical P2. Under the Cut & Fill Tab, select More and Corner Cutter. Select the upper left and bottom right corners. Under the Format Tab, select heavy shadow.
- Add the sun embellishment. Size and align in upper left corner. Add the Beach Bum title. Under the Format Tab, add a light shadow.
- From the Insert Tab, insert a red rectangle. Size and align as shown. Add a Cheerful Tropical PM 02 and Cheerful Tropical PM 05. Under the Cut & Fill Tab, select Straight and then Shaped Edge. Cut one with the Punched Arch and the other with the Arch. Align as shown. Under the Format Tab, add a heavy shadow to each.
- Add the Palm Tree embellishment. Size and align on left side of layout as shown. Under the Format Tab, add a heavy shadow. Add the Surfboard embellishment. Size and align on left side of layout as shown. Under the Format Tab, add a heavy shadow.
- Add three photos sized 3-1/4” x 3-1/4”, 3-3/4” x 5-1/2” and 2” x 2-1/8”. Under the Format Photos tab, change the mat width to 3. Select each photo and under the Format Tab, add a heavy shadow. Rotate and align as shown.
- Add the Umbrella, Beach Chair, Leaf, Yellow Starfish and Blue Seashell embellishments. With each selected, add a light shadow under the Format Tab.
- Add the life is good title. Add journaling as desired.
- To make the pennants: Under the Insert tab, add a circle. Under the Cut & Fill Tab, add a rectangle and place over half the circle. Erase the unwanted area. Under the Format Tab, add a heavy shadow. Copy and paste the half circles seven times. Align as shown. Under the Cut & Fill Tab, change to desired colors and papers. Under the Insert tab, select Line and Curved Path. Draw a 0.25 pt. line along the top of the pennants as shown. Add a Black Burst Embellishment to each end of the pennant. Add desired embellishments and journaling to the pennants.
