Fabulous Outdoors Overlays Digital Scrapbook Layout

How to Create:

  1. Change the background to dark grey (I used the one on the top row third from the right). Place a burlap surface on it.
  2. Place the Elements Wood texture embellishment on the page and rubber stamp it in a grey that is a bit lighter than the background color. Erase the actual element and place the rubber stamp image at the top of the page as shown.
  3. Add your photo to the page and flatten it. Cut an oval around the photo (Cut and Fill – ellipse – erase the shaded area)Soften the edge of the photo (format – filters – soften edge) and place the photo in the bottom right side of the page as shown.
  4. Add the Overlay 1 from the Fabulous Outdoors Digital Overlays to the photo and change the color to white. Cut around the butterfly on the right side (cut and fill – custom cutter – cut around selected shape). Change the color to the turquoise as shown. Place a burlap surface on it and shadow it.
  5. Add a text box to the page and write the word “For” using the Batang Font in white. Place it on the page as shown.
  6. Write the word “beautiful” with the Mutlu font in the turquoise color and place it as shown.
  7. Continue to write the words to the quote using the fonts listed above and place them as shown. Take the turquoise butterfly you cut out earlier and copy and paste it(right click copy – right click paste). Shrink it down and add it to the left of the quote as shown. Copy the white butterfly also by cutting around it with the custom cutter and copying it instead of cutting or erasing it (cut and fill – custom cutter – copy selected area). Place it above the turquoise butterfly on the left of the quote. Flatten  all of the elements of the quote together (click on one element and hold down the shift key and continue to click on every element until they are all selected – right click and choose flatten). Then shadow the entire quote with the all around shadow. Flatten it and shadow it again. Continue this for around 7 or 8 times or until you get the desired effect.
