How to Create:
Leave the Background white.
Create a teal (sampled from the Ashby Baby Boy embellishments) rectangle (insert – shape – rectangle) and add it to the right side of the page as shown.
Create another, skinnier rectangle and make it the yellow/green in the Ashby Baby Boy Embellishments. Add it on top of the teal rectangle as shown. Shadow it. Create 2 more skinnier yellow/green rectangles (you can copy and paste the bigger yellow one and just move in the side to make it skinnier) and place them as shown.
Take the Rattle embellishment and place it on the page. Use the Wand tool (cut and fill – wand – click on the yellow border of the embellishment so that it is highlighted and choose – Keep the highlighted section) and cut out the border and erase the rest.
Take the border and Flip it 90 degrees (arrange – choose the arrow to flip it). Add it to the page in the pattern shown on the top half of the page. Also shrink 4 of them down and add them to either side of the wider yellow rectangle as shown.
Select all of the yellow frames you placed on the page and the background white paper. (Hold down the shift key while you click on everything you want selected) Flatten them together (Right click – flatten). Use the wand tool to select the inside of the frames that are shown to be solid yellow. Hold down the shift key and click with the wand on the white inside of each of them you want to be solid. Once they are selected choose – keep both. Make sure the inside pieces that were cut out are selected and change them to the same yellow of the frame as shown. (cut and fill – color – choose the color). This is where you can have some fun. If you want to make the insides a different color go for it!
Take the Teddy Bear embellishment and place it in the yellow frames as shown.
Take the Birds in a circle embellishment and place it as shown. (once you get it the size you want just copy and paste it to make sure they are all the same size.)
Add 3 photos to the page as shown. Add a white mat to them (format photos – mat – white). Shadow them.
Add the A special Letter embellishment to the page and shadow it with the all around shadow.
Add a text box to the page and using the Andalus font in the teal from the Ashby Digital Embellishments write your journalling and place it as shown.
