Family Photo Calendar Digital Scrapbooking Idea

How to Create:
- Start with a new calendar 8x12 digital project.
- Use Very Merry P9 as your background
- Place Very Merry P10 (Snowflakes) on the page, lining up the bottom with the bottom of the calendar edge. Select the P10 paper and choose Cut & Fill from the menu and select the rectangle. Cut the P10 paper where the calendar portion is, so the calendar will show on the P9 background paper.
- Using Very Merry P8, cut Shape 1 from Very Merry Digital Shapes. Select the cut and choose properties. Unlock the aspect ratio by unchecking the box and size to 6.5” x 6.5”. Go to the Format tab and place a Heavy Shadow at the bottom right.
- Add a 5” x 5” photo and center on top of the shape from above. Center both in the top section of the calendar. Go to the Format tab and place a Heavy Shadow at the bottom right.
- Using the embellishments, add Snowflake 1, Snowflake 3, and Snowflake 4. Select each item separately and choose properties. Resize each to 1”. Align vertically and then select all items and group together. Place under the photo/frame as shown.
- Add Very Merry Ribbon 1 and place over the top edge of the P10 (Snowflake) paper, behind all other objects.
- Add the Owl then select the cut and choose properties. Resize to 1.6” x 1.508”. Move to the bottom right edge of the photo as shown. Go to the Format tab and place a Heavy Shadow at the bottom right.
- Using the Very Merry P5 paper, cut out Shape 2 from the Very Merry Digital Shapes. Select and choose properties. Resize to 1.25” x 1.422”. Move to the bottom right edge of the photo on top of the owl as shown. Go to the Format tab and place a Heavy Shadow at the bottom right.
- Insert a text box and add a title. Size to 48 pt and choose GasolineAlley NF font. Make the font brown. Go to the Format tab and place a center light shadow.
- Insert a second text box and add a caption. Size to 20 pt and choose GasolineAlley NF. Make the font the red color in the ribbon by using the eyedropper to choose the color. Go to the Format tab and place a center light shadow.
