Valentine Project Idea of the Day #19

Give this adorably whimsy Valentine to someone special.

How to create:
Cut white cardstock to measure 8" square. Fold in half to create 4" x 8" card. Cut piece of red polka-dot patterend paper to measure 4" x 8". Lightly sand edges of this piece.

Lightly adhere heart flourish spanning across red polka-dot piece. Using scissors, trim away section of red paper below heart flourishes. Adhere red paper and heart flourishes to front of card.

Cut strip of excess red polka-dot paper to measure 1/4" x 4". Lightly sand edges of this piece. Adhere along bottom edge of front of card. Adhere "mad about you" sticker to card.

Trim a section of scalloped edge (brown polka-dot patterned scallop-edged piece) paper so you end up with thin strip with 2 scallops (as shown). Lightly sand edges of this piece, then adhere across top of front of card to finish.
