Holiday Project Idea #51

JttagalbumCreate this adorable mini tag album by simply embellishing a few punched tag shapes, then decorate a mint tin to serve as a treasure box to hold the completed album.

Jennie punched several tag shapes from patterned papers, embellished them with photos, vellum accents, lace, buttons and fibers.  Then, she tied them together using ribbon.

To decorate tin, cut paper to fit on to top of tin.  Decorate with ribbon, metal embellishments and stickers.

Project created using Romance Power Palette, Circle Maker, Friendship Micro Maker, Tag Maker, Corner Maker, Expressions of Love, Ribbons, Fibers, Metal Embellishments and Lace.

Holiday Project Idea #50

TeethjournaljarLooking for a last minute adorable gift?  A child in the midst of their years of losing teeth or a new mom would love this special, one-of-a-kind jar to set on a nightstand or dresser... just waiting for the opportunity to make an exchange with the tooth fairy!

To create, cover journal jar with strip of green paper.  (Adhere with tape runner). Adhere rick-rack embellishment to jar. Hand draw tooth shape, then trim out with scissors.  Adhere tooth to jar using foam squares.  Punch circle shape from blue paper, then adhere to jar using foam squares.  Punch second smaller circle shape, then adhere to tooth shape.  Adhere monogram sticker and button. Adhere "My Teeth" stickers to jar.

To create tags (for holding tooth), adhere memorabilia pocket to backside of tag.  Embellish and write info on tooth loss on tag opposite side that memorabilia pocket is adhered to.  When tooth is lost, place tooth inside memorabilia pocket tag, then place inside jar.  Wait for the tooth fairy to work her magic!

Project created using Treasures Journal Jar, Jewel Vacation Power Palette Kit, Swirly Brown ABC/123 Stickers, Simple Brown Monogram Stickers, Scissors, Tag Maker, Circle Maker, Rick-Rack Embellishment, Button, Fibers, Foam Squares and Small Memorabilia Pockets.

Holiday Project Idea #49

The holidays are just around the corner, and soon you'll be ready to create layouts using all the great family photographs you have taken throughout the season. Here's one to get you started. This adorable, yet quick and easy layout comes together in minutes, and uses very few tools.

Jfxmas1Jfxmas2

To create first page, simply tear a strip (using Tearing Tool) from green patterned paper (approximately 8" high), then adhere to page.  Cut strip of white paper to measure 6-1/2" high and adhere to center of green strip.  Add photo, stickers and journaling.

To create second page, tear green  patterned paper down the center.  Adhere this piece to left side of red patterned paper.  Cut white strip of paper to measure 11" x 5".  Adhere to right side of page, then add photos, journaling and doodling along edges of journaling piece.

Project created using Primary Christmas Power Palette Kit, Tearing Tool and Fine-Tip Pen - Black.

Holiday Project Idea #47

Create a super simple way to remember the holidays... even after they're long over.  The bases for the pages in this mini album were created using chipboard from inside the packaging of her Creative Memories products!  Simply cut pieces of the chipboard to measure 6-1/2" x 4-1/2".  Then, adhere a photo mat to each side of the chipboard.  Punch a hole in the upper left corner of each page, then bind together.  Embellish with ribbons, stickers, and journal boxes.  Renee added extra doodling and sanding for a more "rustic" look.

Holiday Project Idea #44

DressedupwinebottleReady to deliver a fun holiday or new year's gift to the party host?  Add some decorative paper, punches and stickers to a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider, and you're all set.

To decorate your bottle like this one, measure the height of the widest part of the bottle. (In this case, the distance was 5" high).  Cut a piece of patterned paper this width and long enough to wrap around bottle.  Cut piece of striped paper to measure 1 inch narrower (in this case, 4" high).  Using sandpaper, lightly sand edges of both pieces, then adhere to bottle.  (In this case, we used tape runner).

To create bottle neck band, cut a strip 1-1/2" wide, then wrap around bottle and mark where the strip crosses over itself as shown.  Cut this strip where marked, then lightly  sand edges of this piece. Wrap around bottle and adhere.  Using Circle Maker, punch large red circle and smaller green circle. Lightly sand edges of both circles, then layer and adhere to bottle.  Add "'09" stickers to center of green circle.

Cut green patterned paper to measure 3" x 2".  Cut brown patterned paper to measure 3-1/4" x 2-1/4".  Lightly sand edges of both pieces, then layer and adhere to front of bottle.  Adhere letter stickers and lightly sanded star shapes, punched using Galaxy Micro Maker.

For an extra touch, create wine charms by punching large and small circles, sand edges, layer and adhere together.  Punch hole in each charm, then adhere stretchy cording.  If you know names of guests who will be in attendance at party, adhere letter stickers that correspond with the first letter of guest's name.  If not, bring the sheet with you and adhere stickers at the party.

Project created using Jewel Heritage Power Palette Kit, Swirly Brown ABC/123 Stickers, Galaxy Maker, Circle Maker, Sandpaper
