Ready to deliver a fun holiday or new year's gift to the party host? Add some decorative paper, punches and stickers to a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider, and you're all set.
To decorate your bottle like this one, measure the height of the widest part of the bottle. (In this case, the distance was 5" high). Cut a piece of patterned paper this width and long enough to wrap around bottle. Cut piece of striped paper to measure 1 inch narrower (in this case, 4" high). Using sandpaper, lightly sand edges of both pieces, then adhere to bottle. (In this case, we used tape runner).
To create bottle neck band, cut a strip 1-1/2" wide, then wrap around bottle and mark where the strip crosses over itself as shown. Cut this strip where marked, then lightly sand edges of this piece. Wrap around bottle and adhere. Using Circle Maker, punch large red circle and smaller green circle. Lightly sand edges of both circles, then layer and adhere to bottle. Add "'09" stickers to center of green circle.
Cut green patterned paper to measure 3" x 2". Cut brown patterned paper to measure 3-1/4" x 2-1/4". Lightly sand edges of both pieces, then layer and adhere to front of bottle. Adhere letter stickers and lightly sanded star shapes, punched using Galaxy Micro Maker.
For an extra touch, create wine charms by punching large and small circles, sand edges, layer and adhere together. Punch hole in each charm, then adhere stretchy cording. If you know names of guests who will be in attendance at party, adhere letter stickers that correspond with the first letter of guest's name. If not, bring the sheet with you and adhere stickers at the party.
