Wonderland-pgHave similar photos to use and looking for a fun way to show them on a page? Try this fun technique!

How to create:
Using Black Star Paper from Wishes and Dreams tear top left corner of paper using tearing tool, mount on White cardstock.

Cut a corner piece from Believe Hope paper to fit in torn corner (using corner of paper with foil stars), mount on White cardstock and tuck under tear.

Crop 4 photos to 2 ½” x 6, using the Corner Maker round left corners of picture that is to be on left side of page and round right corners of picture that is to be on right side of page and mount on White cardstock, leaving 1/8” of cardstock for border. Round corners of cardstock for left and right pictures. Trim cardstock flush on sides of middle pictures, on end pictures trim cardstock flush on inside edge.

Place Wish sticker on Light Silver Shimmery paper and trim, mount on Black cardstock and trim leaving small edge, mount on White cardstock and trim leaving small edge. Mount in top right corner of page. Next mount pictures on page, space evenly between pictures, leaving 3/4” on the right and left side of end pictures. Cut two strips from Believe Hope paper, making sure you cut so words will be seen (strips will be approx. 3/8”).

Using letters from Swirly Monogram Stickers and Swirly ABC/123 Stickers write “Wonderland” or verbiage of choice in bottom right corner of page. Using the Star Maker, punch small star from Light Silver Shimmery paper and using the Circle Maker, punch large circle from Black cardstock. JanetInvite Create this adorable hybrid baby announcement in a snap!

How to create:

Using the Hope Wish Dream paper and Star paper, cut out a 7” x 4” piece from each (making sure that the foil stars are included in the cut, so they will show when folded).

Using Cloud cardstock cut out a 4” x 6 “ piece. Using your Tearing tool tear left side of 7” x 4” Hope Wish Dream paper (only tear off very edge of paper, paper needs to overlap in front and back of card, make sure that when folded over front of card, foil stars will show).

Attach Star paper to back of Cloud cardstock at 3-1/4” mark (make sure that when folded over Cloud cardstock the foil stars will show). Attach Hope Wish Dream Paper to back of Cloud cardstock, overlapping torn edge just enough to cover edge of Star paper (make sure that when folded over front of Cloud cardstock the foil stars will show). Fold each piece of paper over Cloud cardstock.

Place initial in center of Silver Star sticker using letter from White Simple ABC/123 Stickers. Attach to front of card on Hope Wish Dream paper. Attach ribbon under sticker using Precision Point Adhesive.

Using Circle Maker punch smaller circle out of Light Silver Shimmery paper and larger circle out of Dark Silver Shimmery paper. Place Joy sticker center of small circle and trim, center and attach small circle to large circle, attach to front left side of card.

Using the Friendship Micro Maker and Disney Magic Maker punch hearts and stars from various papers (you will need several of each). Glue one of each on front left side of card. Attach ribbon under circle using Precision Point Adhesive.

On inside left of card, using Circle Maker, punch two smaller circles (one from Light Silver Shimmery paper and one from Cloud cardstock) using Friendship Micro Maker punch star out of Silver circle. Glue Silver circle on top of Cloud circle and heart on to Silver circle. Attach to left inside of card using Foam Squares. Glue several hearts to left inside of star paper.

On backside of card, glue remaining hearts and stars at seam tear of paper. Open up SBC+ choose New Project and select 4 x 6 Landscape>Blank. Add photo of choice to blank page (you will need to allow 1/2” trim room on top and side or 1/4” on each side, to fit inside of card) For this card I chose to make the photo Black and White. Under Enhance Tab at top of page> click B&W. Next type verbiage of choice, Text> Place text on page>Create. And card is finished and ready to be processed. Trim card to 3-1/2” to 5-1/2”.

Using Disney Magic Maker punch star in top right corner of picture, place small piece of Cloud cardstock behind star. Mount on Black cardstock and trim with slight edge of black showing, mount on Silver Shimmery paper with slight edge showing and mount on center of Cloud paper inside card.

Wishes Project Idea #11

JanetHybridCreate this card using a combination of StoryBook Creator Plus, along with paper, stickers and tools for a wonderful hybrid creation!

How to Create:

Using verbiage paper from Wishes and Dream cut the paper to measure 6” x 12”. (make sure the cut is made with the wording oriented in the proper direction and silver stars to run along right side after fold is made) Fold in half.

Using vellum from Celebrations Vellum packet, trim down slightly and mount using Frosted Splits on the Dark Silver Shimmery paper. Trim leaving just a small edge and mount on White Card Stock. Trim leaving just a small edge and mount on Light Silver Shimmery paper.

Open 6” x 12” paper and on left inside lightly draw with pencil the opening. The opening is 2-1/2” x 4-1/2”. Your box should be 1/2” from the top and 3/4” from each side. Using a craft knife, cut out.

Using StoryBook Creator Plus Software, open up a new project …under Local Printer click> 8-1/2" by 11" portrait. Name project and screen will open to a blank page.

Using your margins at the top and left create a text box that is 2” x 5”. Place box 1” from left margin and mid way down page (you will eventually be cutting this paper out to measure 6 x 6). Type verbiage that you would like on card. For this card the verbiage reads: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover. - Mark Twain"

Next make another text box and place further down the page and type Congratulations. (this will be cut out and placed behind black star frame sticker). Cut Gray Star paper to 8-1/2” x 12”, place in printer and print. Next measure down from verbiage 1/2” and that will be the bottom of your cut. Using that point measure up 6”. Find middle of text and measure out on both sides 3”, this will give you your 6” x 6” cut for inside of card, cut out.

Using Disney Magic Maker, punch a star in top right corner. Using Precision Point Adhesive, glue a small square of Black Cardstock behind stars and mount on right inside of card. Close card and using foam squares, adhere vellum mounted square in middle of opening. Using Disney Magic Maker, punch a star in the bottom right corner of front of card, and place Black Cardstock behind stars same as above directions.

Using leftover Grey Star paper and tearing tool, tear a small triangle to fit in the bottom left inside of card and punch star. If star does not line up with Black Cardstock repeat above step for triangle. With the Galaxy Micro Maker, punch stars using various Silver Shimmery papers from the Wishes and Dreams kit, glue to bottom left inside of card, tucking a few stars in behind tear of triangle piece.

Next place Black Star Frame Sticker on Black Cardstock and cut out, trim out middle. Center over the verbiage “Congratulations” and lightly draw guidelines to trim out word, Congratulations. Cut out word. Center and mount word on lower portion of the front of card. Using foam squares, place frame centered over word. Tuck and glue small piece of ribbon behind Star Frame. Using Black Round Tip Pen, run along all edges of card and opening.

Project Created using Wishes and Dreams Kit, StoryBook Creator Plus Software, Precision Point Adhesive, Frosted Splits, Expressions of Celebration Vellum Accents, Frosted  Splits, Disney Magic Maker Maker, Galaxy Micro Maker, Black Cardstock, White Cardstock, Black Round Tip Pen, Tearing Tool, Silver Ribbon. Font: Bleeding Cowboy, 18pt. and 24pt.
