How to Create:
Adhere 6"x6" patterned paper to the front of the CD Holder overlapping the spine and back cover. Miter the front corners, cut 2 slits up to meet the spine and then adhere all pieces down taking care to wrap the spine section down on the inside of the spine.
Adhere a piece of 5 1/2” patterned paper to the inside left page.
Cut a piece of patterned paper to 6" x 5". With the tape runner apply a few strips of adhesive to the wrong side of the paper on the right side only. Slip the paper into the pocket on the left side of the open CD Holder and adhere to the right side of right page in the half pocket.
(this will allow the paper to move when opening and closing the book and not get “tight” by the spine)
Apply adhesive to the outside of the half pocket and lay the patterned paper over it and adhere then trim out.
Using the Circle Maker, punch out 5 circles from White Cardstock. Adhere a dot punched with a hole punch from patterned paper to each circle and attach to the inside of the pocket to create a scalloped edge.
Repeat all steps for the second CD Holder except for the front cover which shall be left blank. Instead, you will apply adhesive to the left side of the open holder and trim the edge at ¾”, trim corners at an angle, apply adhesive and fold over onto the front cover.
Create 2 tags 4 -7/8” x 4” from chipboard or cardstock - the angle at the top is at one inch. Cover with patterned paper.
Apply patterned paper to the back of the second CD Holder overlapping the spine to the front cover, and trim along the outside edge.
Apply adhesive to the back cover of the first CD Holder and attach to the front cover of the second CD Holder.
Adhere photos to your pages and embellish according to your taste. This paper kit has some great embellishments, cut-outs and sticker phrases to adorn your pages. I used the thumbnail photos on this particular project which allows one to view more events from that day as you’re limited in how many traditional photos you can use on this project.
On Page one I used a Die Cut Shape and applied the Grow a New Beginning Epoxy Sticker on top of it and attached the piece with Foam Squares.
On page 2 I used the Special Moments Clear Title Sticker and the Rose Epoxy Sticker.
On page 3 I applied an Epoxy Photo Corner on the photo.
Page 4 has 2 Paper Flowers from the Delight Collection topped with an Epoxy Sticker circle sticker and raised up with a Foam Square. I also did some faux stitching using the Cocoa Pen and the Mother Nature’s Finest Clear Title Sticker.
You have the opportunity to journal on the back of the tags or on a separate piece of paper tucked under the left side.
Create a belly band by cutting a 1 ½” strip of cardstock and wrap tightly around your mini book. When it overlaps itself about an inch remove and trim off the excess. Cut a 6 inch piece of patterned paper on each side with the wavy blade approx 1 1/8” and adhere on the belly band base. Apply adhesive to one end of the band, wrap around your book and adhere.
Apply the Epoxy Bracket Frame to a photograph and trim around the edge. Apply to the belly band with foam squares. Apply the Beautiful Clear Title Sticker.
Project created using: Nature’s Whisper Paper Album Kit, White Cardstock, Rotary Trimmer with Straight and Wavy Blade, Circle Maker, Paper Flowers - Delight, Foam Squares, Tape Runner, Cocoa Pen, CD Holders
