How to Create:
Use White Cardstock as the base.
Cut a Black & White Designer-Print floral pattern paper to 11-3/4” x 11-3/4”. Round the corners, using the Corner Maker. Using the Creative Cuts Tool and Distressing Tip, distress the edges. Adhere to the center of the base, leaving the upper right corner free from adhesive.
Adhere an 11-3/4” x 3-1/2” strip of white with black script pattern paper 1-3/4” from the bottom edge.
Adhere an 11-3/4” x 2” strip of white with black dots paper on top of the script one, approx. 2-3/4” from the bottom edge of base.
Cut a 3” square of the same dot pattern paper. Round one corner. Fold the upper right corner of the floral pattern paper forward approx. 2-1/2”. Tuck the dotted paper in to take the place of the folded corner (rounded corner should be the upper right one). Adhere in place.
Using the Cranberry Basic Decorative Cardstock as a template, trace one side, 2-1/2” in from the point, onto the black grid pattern paper. Use an All-Purpose Scissors to cut out the shape. Adhere across the dotted paper. The point will be 1-1/2” from the bottom edge.
Adhere an 11-3/4” strip of Simply Beautiful pink Paper Ribbon, over-lapping the scallop piece. Apply the Black & White Title Sticker.
Mat a 2-1/2” x 4” photo onto white paper from the Black & White Tone-on-Tone Power Palette, then onto black paper. Adhere to the layout, using Foam Squares, approx. 1/2” from the right edge.
Mat (2) 4” x 2-1/2” photos onto white paper, then black. Adhere to the layout using Foam Squares.
Journal, using Tangerine font. Print on a white grid Storybox. Using the Large Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Green Blade, cut a circle around the journaling. Adhere to a Paper Tag. Cut the tag in half and adhere the tag, tucking part under the photos.
Using the Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge, and the Cheerful Font, cut the word “Family” 1-1/2” on black paper. Select Cheerful Font Shadow and cut the word again on Simply Beautiful Pink paper. Adhere on the layout, using Foam Squares (cut into pieces).
Using the Cheerful Font, cut “2011”, 1” on black paper. Select Cheerful Font Shadow and cut again on pink paper. Assemble and adhere to layout, as shown.
Layer two Black & White Paper Flowers and adhere on the folded corner, using Foam Squares. Using a Scallop Circle Maker (with holes) cut a scallop circle from pink paper. Use one of the discarded large dots for the center of the flower. Adhere additional flowers, as shown.
