How to Create:
Using the Deckle Rotary Blade, cut the burst pattern paper to 11-3/4” x 11-3/4”. Adhere to the center of the Royal Blue Cardstock.
Using the Jumbo Circle Pattern (outside of template) and the Green Blade, cut a circle from Red Cardstock.
Using the Red Blade, cut another circle from White Cardstock. Adhere the white circle on top of the red circle. Cut approx. 2-1/4” from one side of the circle. Adhere the circle to the layout with the straight edge on the left side, allowing the blue border to show. Adhere the part of the circle left over approx. 1-1/2” from the bottom edge, over-lapping the larger circle, as shown.
Using the Border Maker System and the Scallop Stitch Cartridge, punch a border from each Royal Blue, Red and White Cardstock. Cut each border to 11-3/4” x 1-1/4”. Adhere the borders, over-lapping to the layout.
Apply the red, white & blue border sticker.
Cut a 7” x 5-3/4” piece of the red stripe paper. Using the Corner Maker, round the right side corners. Adhere to the layout, tucking the bottom edge under the border sticker.
Mat a 4” x 5” photo onto White Cardstock. Trim, leaving a thin border. Adhere to the left side of the red paper.
Apply the stickers, as shown, using Foam Squares under the Statue of Liberty and the stars.
Doodle, drawing lines along the edges of the circle and the red paper and journal, using a Dual-Tip Black Pen.
