Oh, Canada Scrapbooking Layout - Traditional Tuesday July 3, 2012

How to Create:

1. Use Midnight Shimmer Cardstock as the base.
2. Cut the white embossed paper from Mediterranean Market Paper Pack to 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" and adhere to the base.
3. Crop three photos to 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and three more 2" x 2-1/2" and mat them all with Cranberry Cardstock.
4. To make the banner pieces cut strips of Midnight Shimmer Cardstock, Enchanted Embossed Paper, Enchanted Designer Print Paper, Divine Tone on Tone Paper, and Cranberry Cardstock to 1' wide and vary the length from 2" to 1-1/2" Stack the shorter ones on the longer ones using Foam Squares.
5. Use the All-Purpose Scissors to free hand cut a triangle pennant. Punch a heart with the Loveable Mini Pocket Punch and adhere to the pennant.
6. Punch out red, white and black stars using the Star Place 'n' Punch and stack them using Foam Squares.
7. Stack a white Enchanted Paper Flower on top of a black Divine Paper flower and adhere a red Enchanted Epoxy sticker to the center.
8. For the title use the back of a Reflections Paper Tag and add 'Oh,' using the Enchanted Decorative ABC Stickers and 'Canada' using the Black Simple ABC 123 Stickers. Add Enchanted Epoxy Stickers and stitch marks around the perimeter using the Red Dual-Tip Pen.
9. Round the corners of an Enchanted Storybox using the Corner Maker. Journal using the Black Dual-Tip Pen.
10. Arrange all elements as you would like to make three strung banners. Doodle the banner strings using the Black Dual-Tip Pen.

The Hunt - Traditional Tuesday Scrapbooking Layout

How to Create:

1. Adhere the white Pastel Decorative Cardstock onto Brown Cardstock.
2. Cut a 5-1/2 x 12” piece from the yellow stripe Fabulous Tone-on-Tone Paper and adhere to the right side of the page, vertically.
3. Punch out two borders using the Frame Chain Border Maker Cartridge from a purple pattern Fabulous Tone-on-Tone Paper and adhere to the right edge of the yellow paper. 
4. Cut a 5” circle using the CCS Circle Patterns from the same purple pattern paper, fold Fabulous Paper Ribbon on the back edge of the circle and sew in place. Adhere to the top left side of the page.
5. Frame your focal point photo with White Cardstock. Trim leaving about 1/4” edge around the photo. Adhere to the page using Foam Squares.
6. Place the smaller photos at an angle on the bottom left portion of the page.
7. Add White Simple ABC 123 Stickers and White Swirly Monogram Stickers to make the title. Place it inside the purple circle accent.
8. Place three Fabulous Paper Flowers on the bottom left portion of the page. Using Foam Squares on two of the flowers to give it dimension. Add Divine Epoxy Stickers in the centers of the flowers to finish off the look.
9. Cut a piece of Fabulous Paper Ribbon and place it on the bottom portion of the page. Cut a notch on the right edge and handwrite journaling using the Black Dual-Tip Pen.
10. Add two more clusters of the three Fabulous Paper Flowers in the top left and center right edges of the page.

How to Create:

1. Use the burgundy patterned paper as the base for this layout.
2. Cut a piece of Cactus Cardstock to measure 10-1/2” x 10-1/2”.  Adhere to burgundy paper.
3. Cut a piece of the cream musical paper to measure 10” x 10”.  Adhere to the cardstock.
4. Using the Jumbo Circle Pattern-CCS, cut a partial circle from the green tree patterned paper.  Adhere to the top of the cardstock. 
5. Using Foam Squares, add the die cut embellishments and title sticker.
6. Cut a piece of paper ribbon, and form the bow.  Adhere to the top of the title sticker, placing an epoxy sticker in the center of the bow.
7. Cut a piece of green tree patterned paper to measure 7” x 5”.  Adhere to layout.
8. Add burgundy photo mat on green paper as shown.
9. Add 6” x 4” photo.
10. Cut a piece of burgundy paper ribbon to measure 10-1/2” in length, and adhere along bottom of layout as shown.
11. Use Brown Dual Tip Pen to journal.

Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - February 8, 2011

How to create layout:

Use Clay Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Using the Creative Cuts Tool with Distressing Tip, distress the edges of an 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" piece of red pattern paper.  Adhere to the center of the base.

Using the Creative Cuts Tool and the Love Pattern, cut out the word "love" from brown pattern paper.  Adhere on top of the heart, as shown.

Cut (2) 1/2" x 6-1/4" strips of silver photo mat and (1)  8" x 1/2" strip.  Adhere the horizontal strip 1" from the left edge and 3-1/2" from the top edge.  Adhere the vertical strips 1" from the top edge and 2-1/2" from apart each other. 

Adhere (6) 2" x 2" photos, as shown.

Apply the "Love Story" sticker onto a strip of White Cardstock.  Trim and adhere on the layout, layering with heart and flower stickers.  Apply additional stickers, using Foam Squares under three of the hearts.

Apply the "Forever" sticker onto White Cardstock.  Trim, and adhere to layout, over-lapping the photo.

Journal and doodle, using the Dual-Tip Brown and Red Pens.

How to create "Cheers" tag:

Using the Corner Maker, round the corners of (2) 3" x 4-1/4" pieces of purple Cheerful Tone-on-Tone paper.  Adhere one on top of the other.

Adhere a 4" strip of Paper Ribbon along the left side.

Adhere a green Paper Tag, as shown.

Using the Scallop Circle Maker, punch a circle from the red dotted paper.  Adhere to the green tag.

Apply the "Cheers" sticker and a 2-1/2" piece of the border sticker.

Using a Fine-tip Black Pen, draw dots to create a center of the scallop circle.

Using the Galaxy Micro Maker, punch out (3) splats from white with multi-color dots paper.  Adhere to the purple tag.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, make a 3/4" slit at the top of the tag.  Thread (2) 1/4" x 8" strips of Designer-Print pattern paper through the slit and secure with adhesive.  Curl the strips.

Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - December 28, 2010

How to create layout:

Use the Reminisce Christmas green holly pattern paper as the base of this layout.

Adhere an 8-1/2” x 6-1/2” piece of the red pattern paper approx. 1-1/2” from the right edge and 2-1/4” from the bottom edge.

Adhere a 3/4” x 6-1/2 piece of the tan photo mat even with the right edge and 2-1/4” from the bottom edge.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, cut the lace border from the red paper.  Adhere, over-lapping the previous two pieces.

Mat (2) 4” x 4” photos onto tan photo mats.  Trim, leaving a very thin border.  Adhere to the red paper, leaving the upper corners free from adhesive.

Cut a 2” square of the green dotted paper.  Cut in half diagonally and adhere one half under the top corners, as shown.

Cut (2) 4” x 3/4” strips of tan photo mat.  Adhere under the photos (not quite touching in the center).

Apply the “Believe” sticker to a piece of tan photo mat.  Trim, leaving a thin border and adhere to a piece of red paper.  Adhere in the center of the photos, using Foam Squares.

Using the Tag Maker, cut a tag from a tan photo mat.  Tuck the corner behind the photos and adhere.  Cut (2) 3”x x1/8” strips of red paper.  Crinkle and adhere to the tag for a ribbon.

Journal on the tag using a Fine-tip Cocoa Pen.

How to create:

Use Clay Cardstock as the base for both sides of this double layout.

Adhere a 12" x 1/2" strip of red pattern paper across the bottom of each Clay Cardstock.

Mat (6) 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" photos onto 4" x 4" pieces of White Cardstock.  Adhere randomly across both pages.

Using the Medium Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Blue Blade, cut (6) circles from red pattern paper. 

Using the Circle Maker, cut (6) 1-1/2" circles from White Cardstock.  Journal on each of the white circles, using a Fine-tip Black Pen.  Layer the circles and adhere next to each photo.

Using the Large Circle Pattern (inside of template) first use the Green Blade to cut a circle from Black Cardstock.  Without moving the template, cut another circle using the Blue Blade.  Adhere the circle frames around each of the layered circles.

Using a Fine-tip Black Pen, add names between the red and black circles.

Cut out the title using the Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge (Basic Font) from red pattern paper.  Cut the shadow from White Cardstock.  Layer and adhere to layout.

Apply the sleigh sticker, as shown.

How to create Hanukkah Gelt Holder:

Using the Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge, cut a 6” present (Present Shape) in Royal Blue Cardstock

Cut Layer Box Top shape (the one w/out using the shift key) in Cloud Cardstock

Cut Layer Bow and Ribbon (using the shift key) in White or Gray Cardstock

Adhere all parts with Precision Point Adhesive and/or Tape Runner.

Cut the envelope into 2-1/4" – using the already sealed side then adhere the other side closed with the Precision Point Adhesive.  Adhere to the back of the gift and place gelt into the envelope.

Twelve Days of Christmas Project Idea - Day 12 - December 12, 2010

How to Create Holiday Gift Tag:

Adhere the Very Merry present pattern paper to the front of the shipping tag, trimming off the excess using an All-Purpose Scissors.

Adere a 3-1/2" x 1" strip of metallic blue cardstock to the bottom of the tag, wrapping the sides around to the back of the tag.  Adhere.

Using the Scallop Circle Maker, punch a scallop circle from blue metallic cardstock.  Adhere this on top left side, trimming off the excess.

Using the Circle Maker, punch a 1-1/2" circle from Espresso Cardstock.  Make very thin cuts toward the center, using an All-Purpose Scissors.  Ruffle the edges to make "frills".

Apply epoxy sticker in the center and adhere to the tag, as shown.

Apply clear sticker “Happy Happy Holidays” from Cheerful Christmas.

Add epoxy deer sticker on bottom side as shown.

Add jute to finish up the tag.

How to create Green Christmas Tag:

Adhere Reminisce Christmas green pattern paper to the shipping tag, using an All-Purpose Scissors to trim off the excess.

Using the Medium Circle Pattern, (inside of template) and the Red Blade, cut a circle from the red Reminisce Christmas pattern paper.  Adhere this on the top left side, as shown, wrapping half around to the back side.

Apply clear sticker “Family is the best part of Christmas” across the bottom of tag.

Using the Circle Maker, punch a 1-1/2" circle from Espresso Cardstock.  Using an All-Purpose Scissors, make thin cuts toward the center and ruffle the edges to make "frills".

Using the Small Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Blue Blade, cut a circle from the red pattern paper.  Adhere to the center of the frilly circle and adhere a ribbon, as shown.  Adhere to the tag, using a Foam Square.

Type TO: and From: (using Microsoft Word).  Print in red ink and cut into a 1-3/4" x 1" rectangle.  Adhere, as shown.

Using a ruler and Fine-tip Black Pen, make a line around the edges of the tag.

Add jute to finish the tag.

How to Create "To" and "From" Tag:

Adhere the Cheerful Christmas red & white stripe pattern paper to the shipping tag, using an All-Purpose Scissors to trim off the excess.

Using the Tag Maker, punch 2 tags from Green Cardstock.  Adhere to tag, as shown, wrapping the excess around to the back side.

Using a Foam Square, adhere gift sticker on left side.

Apply To:/From: sticker on the right side.

Using the Circle Maker, punch a 1-1/2" circle from the red pattern paper.  Adhere to the top of the tag, bending a portion of the top around to the back side of the tag. Punch a 1-1/4" circle from the solid red paper.  Apply the “Cheer” sticker and adhere to the center of the larger circle.

Fold a 5" stripe of ribbon (ends snipped into a "v") in half and adhere to the back side of the tag.

Apply the holly sticker.

 

Create "To" and "From" tag using:

Twelve Days of Christmas Project Idea - Day 11 - December 11, 2010

How to create Paper Wreath:

Cut (6) 12" x 12"sheets of Cheerful Christmas Addition paper in half, then cut 1" x 6" strips.

Fold the strips over being careful not to make any creases.  Staple the strips to the styrofoam, overlapping 1/4 to 1/2 of the paper loop before it.

Do this until you fill your wreath, tucking in extras if you missed a spot. Sometimes I even folded the loops up a little, once it was stuck to the wreath to make it look fuller.

Add a ribbon to hang!
