Jilla

Jill Ackerman - Pine River, MN

I am a low-key, keep-it-simple kind of gal. My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have 4 great kids. They keep me busy with laundry, cooking and did I mention LAUNDRY? And of course, they are all in sports so I get to attend alot of those activities. I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING! I do find time for my hobbies which are scrapbooking, rug hooking and cake decorating.

I would say that I have 2 styles, my favorite is what I would call "fun and funky" that is more collagy .. and then one that's more classic, simple, and a graphic look. I let the photos decide what style I will use.

Because I scrap at my kitchen table and space is limited, the Memory Mate Decorative Tote with Cart and Tools Tote have become my best friend. {sorry Renee} =)

Something silly about me: I once looked like Napoleon Dynamite, if you are not familiar with him - check out your local movie rental store and you will find him on the front cover of the movie.

Jennyd

Jenny Dammann - Pierz, MN
Favorite type of project: I love it all.  Cards, pages, altered things - all of it.

My style: I like tons of distressing, dimension and embellishments.  But... simple, clean and classy is one of those things I love too.  Depends on the subject of the project.

I have 2 humans (one adult, one teen), 2 dogs and one really ugly fish at my house. I live in the middle of nowhere, so there's definitely plenty of time to spend creating fun stuff!

Something silly about me: I think Chuck Norris is one amazing piece of work. :)

AllyG Ally Gehman - Fort Worth, TX
Favorite type of project: I love to use inks and experiment with new techniques. I really like making cards, because I can use my beautiful scraps of paper and complete a project rather quickly (compared to making a two-page scrapbook layout).

I have the sweetest husband and the cutest little son! We adopted our extraordinarily beautiful son from Ethiopia almost 2 years ago. He is the delight of our lives. Oh yeah, he can be pretty rotten, too!

Something silly about me: I can stick my fist in my mouth!

Stefanieh

Stefanie Hamilton - Lincoln, NE
Favorite type of projects: digi layouts, cards, gift containers, altered - my style is fairly clean and simple, and I really like bold bright colors.

I'm married with two kids - Zach (7) and Bailey (3), as well as a beagle who thinks she owns the house.  I like to focus on the story behind the scrapbook page, so I like a lot of journaling.

Something silly about me: I can't survive without one little piece of chocolate every single day.

Beckyh1Becky Heisler - Waupaca, WI

My Favorite Type of Project: Layouts and I have a new found love for anything digital.

My Style: Totally eclectic, I am pretty much what and where ever the wind blows that day.

I have been married to my best friend for 9 years. We have 2 children, Zach is 8 and Chloe is 6. We also have a sweet little dog named Tessie. We live in a rural area in Wisconsin on 6.5 acres and love being out in the country. I have been scrapbooking for about 6.5 years and the excitement hasn't worn off yet!

Something Silly About Me: I love to drink coffee from morning till night. I am not bothered by the caffeine.. which is probably a bad thing because it means my body must be immune to it by now! LOL I LOOOOVE a piping hot cup of coffee after dinner.

Nicoleh

Nicole Henrichs - Saint Paul, MN

My Favorite Type of Project: That depends on the day. My first love was traditional layouts, but lately I've found a great deal of joy in cards, altered projects and odds and ends crafts too. My style seems to change a bit with every project. In general though, I usually tend to gear toward layers and embellishments. The possibilities seem endless!

I am also an archivist, a bookkeeper, a full time Mommy and a devoted wife. I have two amazing kids: an adorable little boy and a beautiful step daughter. I've been married to the the most amazing man in the whole world since 2006 and have loved every minute.

Something silly about me: My dream is to be Indian Jones!

Lisak

Lisa Kisch - Toronto, ON Canada

Favourite type of Projects: I love to scrap mini books about every day things, as well as trips and holidays. I have been scrapbooking since 2003 when I took a beginner class at my local scrapbook store. I am married with two little girls-- the youngest just born in July of 2008. I am a professional theatre actress and singer, and scrapbooking is a much needed creative outlet for me while I am staying at home with my daughters.

Something silly about me: My first project ever was my wedding album. It took me two years to complete, and I didn't scrap anything else until it was done. It's a miracle I didn't quit right there!

Lisa Kumcur - Maple Valley, WA

Professionally, I am a registered nurse. I own Private Nursing Care Inc., in Issaquah Washington. My facility provides for up to 6 residents privately in a residential setting. I am a married mother of three. There is quite a spread in my children. They are 20, 16 and 3. The oldest two are girls and the baby in the family is a boy. I am truly blessed in having such a wonderful family. My favorite and most passionate hobby is Scrapbooking! We also have many pets! Living on 40 acres we have room to share with our furry friends. I love gardening, but would rather sit on my bum and scrapbook!

I enjoy all the bells and whistles when I scrap. I love embellishments like flowers and pages that fold out with surprises. I do many 12x12 layouts for my personal books and memory preservation, but my favorite designs are altered mini books.

I have created a great scrapbook room in my home. I share this space with my closest friends and of course my daughters! We create several nights a week. A television has been added so the little man can watch movies while we work. He actually likes the scrapbook room. I am obsessed with keeping things organized. Everything has its place and I have developed a system for my madness. Love those CM totes and organizers!

Something silly about me- I like to bark and howl with my 5 dogs. We have a fun making lots of noise. Dogs are always taught to be quiet, but when given permission to bark with their pack leader they get so happy and excited.

Helenm

Helen McCain - Rowlett, Texas

Favorite type of projects: I tend to go towards fine art and paper (layouts) crafting, but am branching out a bit now to altered crafts with a more whimsical look.

I am Australian native, moved to the US after marrying my American penpal of 7 years, and we have two girls, 9 and 12.  I have been involved in some kind of paper crafting or fine arts all my life, started scrapbooking in 2003, and also love digital and hybrid scrapbooking.  My style of scrapbooking is constantly evolving, but has a base that tends to lean toward cozy, warm and inviting. I love 30's vintage, shabby or romantic looks, a little Prairie style, with a bit of whimsy or urbanage kicked in on occasion... depending on the photo and the story behind it.  I love to take photos of those unique but everyday things that tell a story of a town, or an occasion.

Something silly about me: I still have and cherish my consolation prize tea towel, albeit threadbare and with holes, from a Sunbeam kids coloring contest in the early 1980's!

Jenp

Jen Pohl - Grass Valley, CA

My style changes with the wind but my favorite project always stays the same -- cards.

I love the smell of paper and ink. I design layouts and card fronts in my head all day long. I have the desire to create every single day.

 BekkiFinalBekki Reighard - California, MD

My favorite types of projects are gift albums! I love making albums to give to other people, especially those who wouldn't normally scrapbook on their own. I also like making gifts from scrapbook supplies.

I enjoy traditional scrapbooking and digital, I love color. I love anything vintage!

About me: I have been married for almost 11 years. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 6 year old son... they are adorable and tons of fun! I have two cuddly australian shepherds. I love listening to music, painting, scrapbooking, and anything artistic and crafty!

Something silly about me: I am an obessive-compulsive room re-arranger and re-organizer... no one can ever find anything and my husband frequently thinks he's in the wrong house!

Clarissar

Clarissa Romano - Rutland, VT

Favorite type of projects: I love all Paper crafts! I especially love creating gift packaging, cards, mini books and altering tins. I seem to lean towards smaller scale projects as well and love a lot of dimension. I am looking forward to trying my hand at some hybrid projects in the future.

I have a wonderful family that supports my craft (which is a good thing!) My daughter Briana is always willing to lend a critical eye and when she says she really likes something I know I must have hit a grand slam! (plus she gives good crafty gifts!) Andy on the other hand just adores everything I create (the doll) and he gives great crafty gifts too!

Something silly about me: When I was little I wanted to be a nun or an Italian singer when I grew up....I used to run around my grandmother's home with her apron wrapped on my head like a habit singing *Funiculi Funicula* (and other Italain songs)

Addier

Addie Rysavy - Pequot Lakes, MN

My style: well, I guess the only definite about my style is that it's very linear. I have the HARDEST time tilting anything on my projects! Other than that I'd say I'm pretty experimental, I love trying new techniques and playing with whatever tools or scrapping toys come my way. I just love scrapping and all the fun stuff that goes with it (photography, escaping on scrap-retreats with friends, preserving my family history... ALL of it!)

I have quite possibly the best husband anywhere...two super-cool kids (Lola-7, and Sam-4)...and pets with names that sound more like dinner than furry friends (Carrot, Roast Beef, & Mac 'n' Cheese). Life is good!

Hildeheadshot

Hilde Stolk - Netherlands

Favorite type of projects: Layouts, altered projects and cards.

My style: I love layering. My style can be shabby chic most of the time. I also love to make my own flowers.

I am from the Netherlands. I'm a 29 year old married woman. Mother of 2 beautiful girls. Amy who is 4 years old and Fenna who will be 3. I'm part-time working at an office, and during my free time I love to scrap as much as possible. I really don't like housekeeping, but ok, it has to be done. I'm in several design teams; Graphic 45, Clear Scraps, A Million Memories, Purple Onion Designs, Phutch Sketchblog and The Pretty Committee challenge blog. So scrapping keeps me busy....;-)

Something Silly About Me: I always make little notes. Lists about the things I need to do. And when I have something done, I really get excited I can mark it as 'been done'. Love that feeling!

Alicias

Alicia Story - Baxter, MN

Favorite type of projects: Any projects that involve photos of my daughter! My style is really every where, that's what I love about this hobby-nobody says you have to stick with one style!

I live with my husband Kelly and 5 yr old daughter Kiarra and my almost 16 yr old step son Nick. I have a passion for photography, and really love anything craft related-just ask my 5 yr old!

Something silly about me: I grew up believing one day I would sing on the Love Boat!  PS: I cant sing and who knew the Love Boat really didnt exist!

Renees

Renee Stranne - Pine River, MN

I live a pretty simple country life with my husband Jeff, of eleven years. I am also blessed to be a step-mom of 2 wonderful girls Stacy (18) and Kelly (15). We also have a dog and four horses.

I love everything about scrapbooking.. and cherish the moments that I get to do it!! I really love creating projects to give as a gift .... it's all good!!

Something silly about me: I am a huge "Little House on the Praire" fan and I adore Laura Ingallas Wilder -- I would love to live her life for about a month!! =) I also hate cheese!!

Brownbit
KathleentKathleen Taylor - Kearneysville, WV

Favorite type of project: Traditional 2 page layouts and altered items. I have an "anything goes" kind of attitude. I like the fact that all my layouts look different. And it is not unusual for me to spend hours and hours on one layout. Actually, it happens more often than not.

I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years. I started 3 months before my wedding at a Creative Memories Party and was instantly hooked. Over the years, my style has constantly evolved. I am a mom to very active 6 year old twins, had a baby boy born on January 1, 2008, and have been married to my husband for over 10 years. I have 3 dogs, live in the middle of nowhere and I love every bit of my life. I wouldn't change a thing. Well, maybe my Mastiff's "drooling" issue BUT other than that...nothing.

Something silly about me:I am a reality TV Junkie! I will not miss one episode of Survivor!! And I love the 80's! I know all the dance moves to the music video "Thriller" (loved those dancing zombies) and sometimes, I actually miss my white leg warmers. LOL

Melissau2Sharyn Tormanen - Howell, MI

Favorite type of project: I definitely favor traditional scrapping and I love pages that tell a story. I tend to write directly to my kids when I journal, in a way that I hope makes them feel closely connected when they get older. My style is very linear and clean - but I've been known to try to shake it up now and then.

I've been scrapbooking since I was a young girl. I've always enjoyed the art of bringing stories and pictures together. My nook is right in my kitchen making it easy to play with my paper on a daily basis. I'm a stay at home mom to four kids ages 2 - almost 14. To say they keep me pretty busy is an understatement - and I love every minute of it.

Something silly about me: I can whistle trill like, much like a bird - and often use that trick as a way to alert my family when we are separated in parks, stores or fairs. They know instantly that it's me.

Brownbit

Melissau2 Melissa Ullmann - Sauk Rapids, MN

Favorite types of projects: I pride myself in being a “traditional” scrapper, because I love the dimension of it. Altering projects tend to be another love of mine as well. I am truly honored to be a part of this wonderful team, and look forward to an adventure of changing times! I started scrapping about 16 years ago after receiving a Creative Memories album from my grandmother as a wedding gift-what a treasured gift! Since then, I spend a lot of my spare time with my family making memories to add to my scrapbooks. My favorite subjects to scrap about are my 12 and 14 year old sons, and my wonderful husband!

Something silly about me: I have to have matching socks, and love to put ketchup on just about anything….including my pizza!

Stephv

Stephanie Vetne - South Bend, IN

I have been scrapbooking for almost 5 years and it has become my passion. My style is clean and simple, keeping the focus on the photos and the stories they tell. I also love digital scrapbooking and enjoy merging the two into hybrid layouts. My family and I live in Indiana and my husband and three children are the stars of my layouts. And I love chocolate - lots and lots of chocolate. I have a large stash in my scrapping room, but shhhh...don't tell my kids!

Chrissyw

Chrissy Wood - Tulsa, OK

Favorite types of projects: First of all, I'll just confess I LOVE paper, ribbon & embellishments! So, anything to do with that is a great start. I especially love to make & give my own greeting cards & tags. They are like little pieces of art to me....each one an original...yea, I know quirky. I am a traditional scrapbooker at heart but I have fallen in love with Storybook Creator Plus! I love to digital scrapbook with it.... the "no mess" of it is awesome and I love how you can whip up a layout and just send it off to print! I also love to use it for the digital embellishments I can print off and use on my handmade cards and tags!

My style: Fun with a little funky, enhanced with decorative touches....I love detail. I married my high school sweetheart. We have 3 beautiful blessings...16, 14 & 10. I have been scrapbooking since I was 13....I love everything about it. Boy, have my albums come a long way since I was 13! Back then all I used was construction paper and markers!

Silly facts about me: I love my coffee in the morning....On the days I go to the grocery store ( my most disliked task) I will treat myself to White Chocolate Mocha at Starbucks to sip on while I shop. And, I absolutely adore flip flops. I have so many I've lost count but I bet they make up 75% of my shoe wardrobe and they must have bling!!
