I Will Always Need You - Traditional Tuesday Scrapbooking Layout

How to Create:

1. Use the Black 12x12 Cardstock as your background page.  Trim the beige patterned paper to 11-1/2” x 11-1/2” and adhere it to your background page.
2. Cut eleven 1” strips of different patterned papers varying between 11” and 12” long.  Cut a dovetail in the ends of each strip.  Adhere them to the page horizontally.
3. Double mat your 4x6” photo with a 4-1/2 x 6-1/2” piece of the teal patterned paper, and a 5x7” piece of Black 12x12 Cardstock.  Be sure to leave some space between your photo and the first mat so you can slip in some hidden journaling.  Add it to the bottom right of you page along with a teal Enchanted Diecut Paper Ribbon border, and a Frame Chain Border cut from the light pink patterned paper with the Border Maker System.
4. Print your computer generated journaling on White 12x12 Cardstock and cut it into strips.  Adhere the strips to a tag cut from the teal patterned paper using the Tag Maker.  Slip the journaling tag between your photo and the first mat.
5. Add the first part of your title to the top of the page using the Black Simple and Sophisticate ABC 123 Stickers, and the rest of your title with the White Sophisticate Stickers over the photo.
6. Add small frame chain and Enchanted Diecut Paper Ribbon borders to the top left of the page for balance.  Trace the paper ribbon borders with the Black Dual Tip Pen for added definition.
7. Embellish your page with Hummingbird Paper Embellishments, and Enchanted Paper Flowers and Epoxy Stickers.

Love You Mom Card -

Cut a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of White Cardstock for base. Use the Scoring Rotary Blade to score at 4-1/4".  Fold in half, with fold on the top.

Cut a 5-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of purple paper and adhere to card bottom.

Cut a 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of yellow paper and adhere to top of card.

Adhere a 5-1/2” strip of green Paper Ribbon across card. Adhere a 5-1/2" strip of gray Paper Ribbon across bottom of card.

Adhere Paper Flowers.

Add sentiment with Swirly ABC/123 Stickers in white.

Punch 3 pink hearts with Loveable Mini Pocket Punch, and adhere to card with Foam Squares.

 

 

Mom Card -

Cut an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of White Cardstock for the base. Use the Scoring Rotary Blade to score at 4-1/4".  Fold in half, with the fold on the left.

Adhere (2) 4-1/4" x 3/8" strips of purple Paper Ribbon across the top and bottom of the card, and (2) 3/8" x 5-1/2" strips along the sides of the card.

Punch four green hearts with the Loveable Mini Pocket Punch. Adhere hearts to the corners of the card.

Adhere Paper Flowers to the center of card. Adhere the Title Sticker to bottom of card. Apply "Mom" using Sophisticate ABC/123 Stickers in Black.

Thanks Mom Card -

Cut an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of White Cardstock for the base. Use the Scoring Rotary Blade to score at 4-1/4".  Fold in half, with fold on the left.

Adhere a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of purple paper to the front of the card.

Cut a 4-1/4" x 1/2" piece of pink paper with the Small Wavy Rotary Blade.  Adhere 1/2" from the bottom edge.

Adhere a 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of green paper across the top of the pink strip.

Adhere a 4-1/4" strip of grey Paper Ribbon across the pink and green seam.

Adhere a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of pink paper on top of a 3” x 3” square of yellow paper.  Adhere to the card, as shown.

Adhere Paper Flower.

Apply title with Swirly ABC/123 Stickers in white.

Punch pink heart with Lovable Mini Pocket Punch and adhere to card.

How to create layout:

Use Cement Cardstock as your base.

Using Paper Trimmer and Deckle Blade, cut White Cardstock to 12" x 6-3/4”.
 
Using the Small Circle Pattern (outside of template) and Red Blade, cut a circle out of the right side of the White Cardstock strip.  Adhere to bottom portion of layout.

Using Paper Trimmer and Deckle Blade again, trim Cement Cardstock 12" x 1-1/2" and adhere on top of White Cardstock, flush with the bottom edge.

Cut the pink Fabulous striped paper 12" x 3”, and adhere to the layout tucking the right end through the circle, as shown.

Trim 2 strips of green Fabulous paper 12" x 1/4" and adhere to top of Cement Cardstock and bottom of the White Cardstock.

Using the Tag Maker, punch 2 tags from White Cardstock and adhere to top left of layout as shown.

Adhere white Paper Flowers, using Foam Squares, as shown.

Using Black Simple ABC/123 Stickers, add title on bottom right side of layout.

Create journaling strips and adhere over white tags.

Add photo to finish.

Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - March 29, 2011

 

How to create layout:

Cut the pink heart pattern Cheerful Valentine paper to 11-1/2” x 11-1/2” and center on a sheet of Espresso Cardstock.

Trim a sheet of red Cheerful Valentine paper to 6” x 10”, using the Deckle Rotary Rlade on the 6” length sides.  Adhere approximately 1-1/2” from the left edge of the cardstock.

Trim a tag shape to 2-1/4" x 5-1/4”, using a sheet of brown pattern paper from the Lovable Scrapbook Kit.  You will cut slight slants on the upper right and upper left of the brown paper to make it into a tag.

Adhere the tag approximately 1/2” from the top of the cardstock, overlapping the red Cheerful Valentine paper.

Trim a strip of paper from the striped Lovable Scrapbook Kit paper to 1/2" x 8” and adhere to the left of the red Cheerful Valentine paper.  Center this strip length wise.

Center and adhere the 4-1/2" x 4" photo near the top of the red paper, overlapping the brown tag approximately 1”.

Print “Mom of” in Arial font onto White Cardstock, then trim a strip of white cardstock to 7” x 1” and adhere directly below the photo, overlapping the tag.

Adhere 5” x 4” piece of the blue pattern paper 1/2" below the white strip.  Draw lines approximately 1/4” to 1/2” apart, using the Dual-Tip Brown Pen.  Add journaling.

Apply a floral sticker border between the white strip and the blue journaling block.

Apply a “2” from the Brown Simple ABC/123 stickers onto a small heart sticker.  Then, apply this heart to a flower sticker.  Adhere next to the title strip, overlapping the photo and brown tag.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, hand cut a blue flower from the Lovable paper and a white/red flower from the Cheerful Valentine paper to overlap on the left side of the photo.

Adhere a small heart/flower sticker to the top of the tag in the center.

Apply a Title Sticker in the lower right hand corner.

How to create layout:

Use Simply Beautiful Birthday Additions purple paper for the base.

Cut white circle pattern paper 10" x 9".  Adhere to the base, approx. 3/4" from left edge.

Using the CCS Medium Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Blue Blade, cut 3 circles from blue paper.  Cut in half and adhere along the right edge of the white pattern paper.

Adhere a 12" strip of blue Paper Ribbon across bottom of layout, approx. 2-1/2" from bottom edge.  Adhere a 12" strip of gray ribbon above and below the blue ribbon.

Mat (2) 4" x 6" photos to purple and blue photo mats.  Adhere to layout, as shown.

Journal on White Cardstock, cut into strips and adhere to layout.

Using Black Swirly ABC/123 Stickers, apply title to a Paper Tag.  Adhere to layout.

Layer Paper Flowers and adhere to layout as shown.

How to create border:

Use Simply Beautiful yellow paper for the base.  Cut 3" x 12".

Cut green paper 11-3/4" x 2-3/4".  Using the Corner Maker, round all corners.  Adhere to the center of the base.

Using the CCS Large Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Red Blade, cut a circle from Brown Cardstock.  Using the Green Blade, cut a circle from a photo.  Adhere to the center of the brown circle.

Adhere the matted photo circle approx. 2-1/2" from the right edge.  Apply stickers, wrapping the excess around to the back of the border.

Using Sophisticate ABC/123 Stickers (brown) spell title.

How to create card:

Cut Simply Beautiful Tone-on-Tone brown paper 5-1/2" x 11".  Score at 5-1/2".   

Cut a 5-1/2" square of White Cardstock and adhere it to the back of the card.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, cut the three flowers out of the blue Designer-Print Paper.  Adhere two of them to the front of the card.  Adhere the third one to brown Cardstock.  Cut around the flower, leaving a thin border of brown.  Adhere to the card, using Foam Squares.

Apply an "M" from the Decorative ABC Stickers to Cement Cardstock.  Trim to 1" x 1".  Adhere to card using Foam Squares.  Apply the rest of the letters directly to the card.

Using a Fine-tip Cocoa Pen, lightly trace the lines from the flowers.  Draw lines around the "M" square.

For the inside of the card:  Cut a 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" piece of Cement Cardstock.  Adhere it to a 5" x 5" piece of White Cardstock and adhere to the center of the inside, bottom portion of the card.

Apply a flower sticker to blue paper.  Cut around it and adhere it to the lower left corner of the card.

Apply the "Many things in life..." sticker to the center of the Cement Cardstock.

Use the Cocoa Pen to draw lines around the edge of the Cement Cardstock.

To create the envelope:  Using gray Designer-Print Paper, cut a 9-1/2" square.  Score 3-1/2" in from each corner.  Fold three corners in and adhere the seams.  Cut a triangle from blue paper, 6" at one side and 4-1/4" on the other two sides.  Adhere to the inside flap of the envelope.

Adhere a 6-1/2" strip of brown Paper Ribbon along the front, left side of the card.

How to create layout:

Use yellow Simply Beautiful Designer-Print Paper for the base.  Using the Corner Maker, round all four corners. 

Cut the blue paper 3" x 12".  Round the left side corners, and adhere to the left side of the layout.

Cut the purple paper 8" x 10".  round the right side corners and adhere to the layout approx. 1/4" from the right edge.

Using the Deckle Blade on one long side, cut the pink paper 2" x 12".  Using the Friendship Micro Maker, punch a border of hearts along the edge of the pink strip.  Adhere with the yellow and blue seams showing through the hearts.

Adhere a 12" strip of Paper Ribbon over the pink/purple seams.

Adhere a 4-1/2" x 7" photo, and (2) 2-3/4" x 2" photos to the layout, as shown.

Using Sophisticate ABC/123 Stickers (white) apply title along top of photos.  Add a punched out heart.

Apply a Vellum Expressions Her onto pink paper, using Frosted Photo Splits.  Tear the left edge of the paper and adhere to layout using Foam Squares.

Layer Paper Flowers and adhere to layout.

Using a Fine-tip Purple Pen, journal along the left border of layout.

How to create layout:

Use a pale grey Simply Beautiful Tone-on-Tone Paper for your base.

Cut a large circle using CCS Large Circle Pattern (using the outside of the circle and the Red Blade). Doodle the edge with black pen. Adhere to top right section of your base paper.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, hand cut two of the large “fancy” half circles from the green Simply Beautiful Designer-Print Paper.  Adhere to base paper as shown, overlapping edges.

Cut a 7-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangle of printed paper and adhere over the cut shapes already on the layout as shown.

Mat 4" x 6" and 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" photo with white cardstock and adhere to layout.

Add Simply Beautiful Paper Tags and Flowers.   (The large green and grey tag was cut in half).  Adhere to the top and side of the larger photo.

Apply Simple Monogram Stickers to blue paper then hand cut.  Adhere to layout using Foam Squares. 

Journal on strips of grey paper, adhere to purple paper, then to layout using foam squares.

The dark grey “scallop” edges  are Discover Paper Buttons cut in half.

Make various heart shapes using the Sweet Heart and Love Struck Makers and scatter them on your layout.

How to create layout:

Use a Brown Harvest Decorative Cardstock for the base of this layout.

Cut the Jewel Heritage pattern paper 10" x 10".  Adhere to the center of the base.  Using fingernail, distress edges.

Mat a 6" x 4" photo onto Brown Cardstock, using a Rotary Wavy Blade to trim the bottom edge.  Adhere to layout.

Using Simple ABC/123 Brown Stickers, spell title, as shown.

Apply the "We do not remember days..." sticker above the photo.  Using Foam Squares, add flower stickers.

Using the Friendship Micro Maker, cut three hearts from orange pattern paper.  Adhere to layout, using Foam Squares.

Using Fine-tip Cocoa Pen, journal along right edge of layout.
