Classic Happy New Year Stickers Layout Traditional Tuesday December 27, 2011

How to Create:

1. Use White Cardstock as the base.
2. Using the Tearing Tool on the top and bottom edges, tear the Cheerful yellow dot pattern paper to 12” x 10”.  Adhere to the center of the layout. 
3. Tear the Cheerful Christmas red pattern paper across the top and bottom edges to measure 12” x 9”.  Adhere across the center of the yellow paper. 
4. Tear along the top only of a strip of White Cardstock; 12” x 3-1/4”.  Adhere to the layout, 2-1/4” from the bottom edge. 
5. Adhere a 12” strip of Cheerful Paper Ribbon below the White Cardstock strip. 
6. Mat (3) 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” photos onto dark blue dot pattern paper.  Adhere to the white strip, as shown. 
7. Mat another 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” photo onto yellow dot pattern paper, then adhere to a 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” piece of White Cardstock.  Apply the streamer stickers at the lower left corner.  Using Foam Squares, adhere the stars sticker.
8. Adhere the layered photo, tilted slightly to the layout.  Draw dots around the edge of the white mat, using the Red, Blue and Green Dual-Tip Pens.  Journal along the right margin. 
9. Apply the title, using Foam Squares under every other letter. 
10. Apply the rest of the stickers, as shown.  Use Foam Squares under some of the stickers for dimension.

Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - January 11, 2011

How to create "Cheers" tag:

Using the Corner Maker, round the corners of (2) 3" x 4-1/4" pieces of purple Cheerful Tone-on-Tone paper.  Adhere one on top of the other.

Adhere a 4" strip of Paper Ribbon along the left side.

Adhere a green Paper Tag, as shown.

Using the Scallop Circle Maker, punch a circle from the red dotted paper.  Adhere to the green tag.

Apply the "Cheers" sticker and a 2-1/2" piece of the border sticker.

Using a Fine-tip Black Pen, draw dots to create a center of the scallop circle.

Using the Galaxy Micro Maker, punch out (3) splats from white with multi-color dots paper.  Adhere to the purple tag.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, make a 3/4" slit at the top of the tag.  Thread (2) 1/4" x 8" strips of Designer-Print pattern paper through the slit and secure with adhesive.  Curl the strips.

New Year's Project Idea of the Day-December 31, 2009

How to create border:

Cut White Cardstock to measure 2-1/2" x 12".

Use Tearing Tool to tear one side of White Cardstock.

Cut Black Cardstock to measure 2-1/4" x 12"

Use Tearing Tool to tear one side of the Black Cardstock.

Using Stardust Maker, punch stars along the torn edge of the Black Cardstock. Save stars for later use.

Adhere the Black Cardstock to the top of the White Cardstock. 

Cut a piece of Black and White Paper Ribbon to measure 12-1/2". Adhere to top of border, and trim ends at an angle using the All Purpose Scissors.

Cut clear title stickers into pieces and place on White Cardstock.  Trim around each piece using the All Purpose Scissors. Adhere to the border as shown using Foam Squares.

Using Tag Maker, punch a tag from White Cardstock. Adhere to border as shown using Foam Squares.

Using Stardust Maker, punch stars from red paper.  Adhere stars to border as shown using Precisions Point Adhesive.   

Adhere previously punched black stars to the tag as shown.

Cut thin strip of red paper to use as the ribbon of the tag.

Add Swirly Black ABC/123 Stickers for the year on the tag as shown.

New Year's Project Idea of the Day-December 30, 2009

How to create:

New Years Hat

Supplies:

12" x 12" Party paper from Primary Birthday Addition
Thin stripes of red, blue, green, and yellow paper for hat top
A party hat to disassemble and trace
1 red 2-1/2" circle-CCS
1 yellow 2-1/4" circle-CCS
1 birthday sticker
Swirly Black ABC/123 Stickers

Take apart an old birthday hat and trace onto the backside of the 12" x 12" party paper. Cut out and assemble into hat.
Adhere thin strip of paper together and stick into the top of hat. Adhere to inside of hat. Curl the ends with a pen or pencil.
Layer circle and stickers for the “2010” label. Add to front of hat.

New Years Noise Maker:

Supplies:

2-1/2" x 12" Birthday party paper from primary birthday addition
1/2" x 12" yellow paper
3/4" x 4" red paper
2-1/2" yellow circle-CCS
2-1/4" party paper circle-CCS
Swirly Black ABC/123 Stickers for “2010”
Old Noise Maker

Disassemble old noise maker.
Fold 12" x 2-1/2" party paper from right and left sides to meet into middle. Let the overlap slightly. Adhere along seam.
Adhere one end to the old noise maker.
Adhere red paper around base of noisemaker.
Layer yellow and blue party circles. Add ABC stickers. Add to top of noisemaker.
Use a pencil to curl up blue birthday paper.

New Year's Project Idea of the Day-December 29, 2009

Ingredients:

1 12"x 12" black cardstock
1 3"x 8" blue party paper
1 1-1/2" x 8-1/2" green dotted paper
1 8-1/2" x 7" yellow paper
1 12"x 1-1/2" blue birthday paper
1-1/2" x 12" red paper
1 12"x 1/4" yellow paper
3 red 1-inch circles
Various sizes of red, green, yellow, and blue papers for letter stickers
2 blue and 1 yellow 2-1/2" inch circles
1 blue, red, and yellow 2-1/4" inch circles
Party stickers from primary birthday addition
Sophisticate Black ABC/123 stickers
Extra green dotted paper for journaling.

Adhere 3 small red circle to upper left side of layout
Adhere blue party and green dotted papers to left side of layout
Adhere yellow paper to center of layout.
Add photos
Adhere blue birthday paper under photos.
Add yellow and red strip to blue birthday paper.
Assemble circles with birthday stickers and add to layout in a visual triangle.
Add title stickers to red, green, blue, and yellow papers of varying sizes and add to layout.
Add journaling block to right side.

New Year's Project Idea of the Day-December 28, 2009

How to create layout:

Use Red Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Cut (to make this cut use the blue blade on the inside of the Jumbo Circle template for the CCS) circle from patterned yellow paper. Adhere to layout.

Cut a piece from Black Cardstock to measure 4-5/8" x 11-5/8".  Adhere to the layout as shown. 

Cut 3 photo mats from White Cardstock to measure 3" x 4-1/4". Adhere to Black Cardstock as shown.

Print 3 photos to measure 2-5/8" x 4".  Adhere to White Cardstock photo mats.

Cut two yellow strips to measure 1/2" x 4-1/2".  Adhere to Black Cardstock as shown. 

Using Galaxy Micro Maker, punch six green stars and adhere to yellow strips as shown. 

Cut piece from green paper to measure 4" x 4-1/2".  Adhere to top of circle piece as shown. 

Cut piece from blue paper to measure 3" x 4-1/2". Adhere to top of green piece as shown.

Cut shapes from patterned paper as shown, and adhere to layout.

Cut strips from White Cardstock to measure 1/2" by various lengths. Adhere to layout as shown.  Use black pen to journal on strips.

Using Galaxy Micro Maker, punch yellow stars and adhere to layout as shown.

Add Swirly Black Monogram Stickers for year.

Add Simple Black ABC/123 Stickers for title.

Use black pen to journal along edges of paper as desired.

New Year's Project Idea of the Day-December 27, 2009

How to create layout:

Use White Cardstock as the base for the layout.

Cut purple patterned paper to measure 8-1/4" x 6-1/4".  Adhere 3 sides of it to the cardstock leaving the right side free of adhesive (for hidden journaling).  Adhere to the center of layout.

Print 12 photos to measure 2" x 2".  Adhere to purple paper as shown. 

Using month title stickers, place on layout as shown. 

Add Primary Paper Buttons as shown. 

Add paper corners, and Swirly Black ABC/123 Stickers for title as shown.

Cut lined paper to measure 5" x 8".  Using black pen, journal on paper.  Add a tab to the far right hand side of the journaling block.  Tuck behind purple patterned paper.

New Year's Project Idea of the Day-December 26, 2009

How to create border:

Cut blue patterned paper to measure 3-3/8" x 12".

Cut striped patterned paper to measure 3" x 12".  Use Tearing Tool to tear one side of this piece.  Adhere to blue patterned paper.

Adhere Family Vellum Accent to front of purple Paper Tag.

Cut a piece of Jewel Paper Ribbon to measure 12 inches.  Thread into tag, and adhere to front of border as shown. 

Using Jewel Decorative ABC Stickers, place the word "memories" on the border as shown. 

Cut a small piece of the gold patterned paper -1/4" x 7/8". Write the year on this piece and place under the word family on the Vellum Accent.

Holiday Project Idea of the Day-December 25, 2009

How to create layout:

Use What Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Using Black Pen draw a double line 1/4" from the edge, all the way around cardstock.  Use pen to fill in, in between lines.

Cut green patterned paper to measure 2-5/8" x 2-7/8".  Cut three pieces this size. Adhere to layout as shown. 

Cut patterned paper to measure 2-3/8" x 2-5/8". Cut three pieces this size.  Adhere to the top of the green pieces using Foam Squares. 

Cut red patterned paper to measure 4-5/8" x 3-7/8". Adhere to layout as shown using Foam Squares.

Print photo to measure 3-3/4" x 4-5/8". Adhere to the red patterned paper using Foam Squares.

Add stickers as shown.

Add Sophisticate Brown ABC/123 Stickers for title.

Using black pen, journal, and doodle along outer edges of circle stickers.
