Cruising Mediterranean Market Scrapbook Layout - Traditional Tuesday July 10, 2012

How to Create:

1. Start with teal embossed cardstock  from Mediterranean Market line as the background of the layout.
2. Trim gray embossed cardstock to 9” tall x 9” wide. Center and adhere onto teal cardstock.
3. Using Mediterranean Market stickers, add green photo corner stickers above the corners of the gray cardstock.
4. Also using Mediterranean Market stickers, choose one of the yellow stickers and cut it in half. Then adhere one half to the top of the layout just behind the gray cardstock ~2” from the right     side of the layout. Adhere the other half to the bottom of the layout just behind the gray cardstock  ~2” from the right side of the layout.
5. Choose 2 different patterned papers from Mediterranean Market. Trim each sheet so that it is 3” tall x 12” wide. Adhere the first piece (here I used the sheet that is gray with the teal and thin yellow borders on the top and bottom) across the layout so that it is ~3” down from the top of the layout. Then adhere the other piece (here I used the colorful gray, yellow, orange, and teal sheet) across the layout so that it is ~3” up from the bottom of the layout.
6. Using wave border punch, punch 3 borders (each 12” long) out of a teal patterned paper.
7. Adhere one of the borders just below the yellow stripe on the first patterned paper that was added to the layout. Adhere another border at the top of the second patterned paper added (this border will be ~1” below the first border. Lastly, adhere the third border at the bottom of the second patterned paper.
8. Add pictures toward the top right corner of the layout. Adhere one of the pictures with Foam Squares to add dimension to the page.
9. Add title with Mediterrean Market stickers toward the center of the layout and underneath the pictures.
10. Add journaling in strips toward the right side of the layout under the title and pictures.

Life Is Good Summer Layout - Traditional Tuesday June 5, 2012

How to Create:

1. Use White Cardstock as the base of your layout. 
2. Cut the orange chevron paper with the All-Purpose Scissors as shown and adhere to the White Cardstock.
3. Adhere two orange photo mats together as shown.  Adhere two 4” x 6” photos.
4. Use the large CCS Circle Pattern and cut two circles from the yellow photo mats using the red blade on the inside of the circle.  Adhere as shown.  Use the Black Dual-Tip Pen to add faux stitching around the edges.
5. Adhere the stickers as shown using Foam Squares on all except the circle tag.
6. Add journaling as desired with the Black Dual-Tip Pen.

Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - June 21, 2011

How to create layout:

Use Yellow Cardstock as the base.

Adhere a 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" piece of the word pattern paper to the center of the base.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, cut the wave from the blue pattern paper.  Adhere in to the layout, approx. 1/4" from the bottom edge.

Adhere a yellow Photot Mat 1-1/2" from the left edge and 2-3/4" from the bottom edge.

Using Foam Squares, adhere (4) 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" photos on top of the yellow mat, leaving a trim of yellow showing between the photos.

Adhere the wave on top of the photos. 

Journal on a 3-1/2" x 2" piece of yellow mat, using a Dual-Tip Black Pen.  Adhere to the lower right corner.  Apply the "Once upon a summer" sticker above it.

Apply the sun sticker to an orange mat.  Use an All-Purpose Scissors to cut around the outline of the sun, leaving a orange border showing.  Adhere to the layout, as shown.  Using a Foam Square, replace the center white circle back in the middle of the sun.

How to create layout:

Use White Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Beginning in the upper, left corner, adhere a 3" x 3" photo approx. 1-1/4" from the top and left edge of page.

Adhere a 2" x 3" piece of Reminisce Designer-Print green pattern paper, leaving a thin border showing.

Adhere a 4" x 4" photo, as shown.

Adhere a 2" x 3" piece of gold script pattern paper, then a 3" x 3" photo.

Adhere a 1-3/4" x 5" strip of orange paper, then a 2" x 2-1/8" piece of darker brick color paper.

Adhere a 3" x 3" photo in the lower left corner. 

Adhere a 2" x 3" piece of the green pattern paper and lastly, a 2" x 3" photo.

Use the Reminisce Decorative ABC Stickers to apply the title, as shown.

Journal on a strip of White Cardstock, adhere to a dark brick color paper and adhere to the layout.  Add "day four" or sub-title.

Apply flower stickers in the corners and doodle, drawing lines half way down each corner.

Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - August 3, 2010

How to create layout:

Use the blue pattern paper from Classic Summer Addition for the base of this layout.

Adhere a Spiced Cider Harvest Decorative Cardstock to the center of the base.

Using the CCS Jumbo Circle Pattern (outside of template) and the Red Blade, cut a circle from Clay Cardstock.

Using the CCS Large Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Red Blade, cut a circle out of the right side of the jumbo Clay Cardstock Circle, approx. 3/4" from the edge.

Adhere the jumbo circle to the center of the layout.

Using the CCS Large Circle Pattern (inside of template) and the Green Blade, make the first of two cuts, cutting a circle frame from the orange pattern paper.  Without moving the Circle Pattern, cut another circle using the Red Blade.  Adhere the circle frame inside the circle cut out of the Clay Cardstock.

Mat (1) 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" photo and (3) 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" photos onto dark blue photo mats.  Trim, leaving a thin border around each one.  Adhere to the layout, as shown.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, cut loosely around the edges of the letters to spell "BOYS" from the Simple Monogram Stickers (white).  Peel the outline only of each letter (leaving the actual letter sticker to use for a future project) and apply them to blue pattern paper.  Trim closely around each letter, leaving a thin border of white.  Adhere the letters to the layout.

Use Simple ABC/123 Stickers (white) to spell "The".

Apply the stickers, as shown.

Journal in the cut-out circle, using a Fine-tip Black Pen.

How to create layout:

Use Mediterranean Cardstock for the base of this layout.

Use the CCS Large Circle Pattern to cut the yellow curve. Place the bottom of the circle halfway off the edge of a sheet of Yellow Cardstock and cut a half-circle. Then move the circle and position it so that the top edge of the circle will create the rest of the curve

Cut White Cardstock 4-3/4" x 9-1/4".  Using the Corner Maker, round all four corners.  Adhere to the layout approx. 1-3/4" from the top edge and 1/4" from the right edge.

Crop (3) photos 4-1/4" x 3".  Round the top corners of the top photo and the bottom corners of the bottom photo.  Adhere the (3) photos to the White Cardstock, as shown. 

Using Simple Monogram Stickers, apply "H2O" to the layout, as shown.  Apply the letters to spell "SLIDE" on Carrot Cardstock.  Using an All-Purpose Scissors, cut around each letter, leaving a 1/16" border.  Adhere cut out letters to layout, using Foam Squares for the "S", "I" and "E".

Adhere (3) Simply Beautiful Paper Flowers, as shown.

Using an All-Purpose Scissors, cut three sets of dots from the Simply Beautiful Paper Ribbon.  Adhere to the center of the flowers, using Foam Squares.  Cut three petals off from a Paper Flower.  Adhere upside down as drops of water.

Journal on White Cardstock, cut into strips and adhere to layout.
